Relic 5: Zetsubou No Shima

Waves crashed against one another. The wind blew gently while the trees and leaves rustle. The waves hit the shore, while Marcus and Saeko crawl out coughing uncontrollably and wet head to toe.

Marcus: "Ah!" He falls on his back, panting, looking up at the stormy clouded sky. 'This game continues!!!' He glares at the sky while Saeko looks down at him. "Sea-" She scans around his body seeing no damage inflicted on him. "Saeko, I'm-" She saddles him and slams her lips into his. Marcus's eyes pop from his sockets, yet he leans into it.

The ignored storm and waves crashing on them. They separated while Blushing Marcus and Saeko gaze into each other's eyes, panting.

"Saeko, that was my first-"

"Mine as well." Her one eye gaze at his while she smiles with tears hitting his face. "I don't care if this is some version of hell. I want to stand by your side." Marcus's gaze never left her's while he gently pulls her wet bandage off revealing her missing eye. Marcus brushes her cheek while she leans into his hand.

Marcus: "Saeko...I have to tell you something." This gains her attention. "This is-"

The storm crackles while Zombies scream hollow the night.

Wave 1

Seako 500

Marcus 500

They noticed MR6(Pistol) in hand. Marcus and Saeko get up walking on the grass and dirt, eying the overgrown environment.

Marcus: "Be careful, and used your gun." Saeko looks up to him in confusion. "Yeah, right you don't know-how." He sighs while zombies interwind with roots and stems slowly pulls on the planks.

Wave 10

-The opening of the cave-

A zombie roars charging Saeko with a Kuda(Sub). She lasered it while it tanks the fire.

The zombies swat, but Saeko side-steps tripping the zombie that hit his face on rocks. Saeko crushes its head from in-between her boot. She smirks while her eyes lit.

Marcus 874 -3000

Saeko glances at Marcus chugging a green glass bottle.

Speed Cola Vend Machine: "Your hands are cold, your movements lifeless, you want more speed, you're feeling restless. So take a sip 'yes', you'll move much faster when you ask how Speed Cola's the answer..." The catchy song continues while Marcus smashes the bottle aside.

Marcus: "Aaaaah!~ Green lime." He smiles while she does the same.

Saeko: "You taking this a little less seriously." She approaches him while a zombie goes to eat her, but Marcus snaps his fire with Mx Garand( Reflex sight) and pops its brains.

"Well, I feel comfortable because we used to running and killing the undead as a bonus: you're here." Saeko smirks.

"Ok, sweet-talker." Marcus goes to say something, but Saeko places her finger on his lip. "Keep talking and you'll get something else out of me." Marcus's blush grew a new high. " But now..." She leans to kiss him, but they notice three plants like brutes(Thrasher) barreling toward them.

Marcus: "But, now we jump!" Marcus pulls her close and dives into a cave hole by Speed cola. The Thrasher's gaze down the dark hole for them. "Ouch! Ah!" The Marcus back slides down the rock and grass causing their Monumentum to continue. Until coming to a stop Saeko saddles him gazing around while Marcus blush.

They were deeper in the cave filled with spider webs and wet rocks.

"Sa-Saeko."

She looks down and blushed.

Saeko: "I'm so sorry!" She gets up while Marcus turns his back to her.

Marcus: "UMP!" He clears his throat. "It's all good."

"Are you flexing you're legs?" She questioned.

"No...yes." Marcus's eyes look away. Saeko goes to say something, but the cave shakes. "Stay close." He gets up while Seako and Marcus ready themselves.

SCREECH!!! A giant spider with spores all over. Crawls from the crack between them: screaming its lungs out. One of its eight legs goes for the two, but they dive and the leg crashed.

The two open fire, but it tanks them without a scratch. It screeches once more spewing green goo. Marcus opens fire at it while it's hissing in pain.

Marcus: "The mouth!" They dodge another claw, but a Thrasher decks him across the cave and he slides near the gape only for its leg to preice his chest. Marcus coughs blood only for him to close his eyes.

Saeko loses the strength in her legs gazing at his body that jolts from the Spider leg and plummets between the gape and into the fog below.

Saeko: "No...not again..." Tears pour as her eyes grew dead. The Thrasher punches her to the ground and planted its foot on her back. She gazes at the Spider leg that raised and crashes her head.

Wave 15

Saeko 10450 -5000

Marcus 8345

Saeko cracks her knuckles after placing her ray gun into the Pack-a-punch. The Pack-a-punch shakes a little while a bright light spews inside.

Marcus: "Saeko, are you, ok?" He questioned seated on the threeway steps with a pack-a-punch Dingo while Saeko takes pack-a-punch Raygun glowing multiple colors. She twists the nob while the Raygun hums.

Saeko: "What makes you say that?" She approaches him.

"The way you look...like in battle you're eyes were locked on me. I'm impressed you can muti-tasked, but was it my death?" Saeko sits by him and sighs.

"I want to ask you something?"

"Shoot." Marcus gazes at Saeko that hasn't returned her gaze.

"Do you ever enjoy taking a life from them?" Marcus looks to the floor remembering his first relic.

"Yeah." She gazes at him. "I'm gonna be honest. There was this first relic in Germany in some theater. I was horrified and that was the first time I died." He grabs his hands and looking at them while Saeko was all ears. "I thought my journey ends there, but darkness was my only home. I felt like I was plummeting into darkness forever, but only for my body to jolt and rocket into the light." He said, casually. "My skills grew greater every reset, the maps felt like home." He looks to Saeko. "Once first blood is spilled, I started craving more like killing them is my deadline. Every minute without them I felt dead inside." Saeko looks away.

Saeko: "One night after cleaning the dojo. I was approached by a man that wanted me. He was forceful...I thought was scare when my heart raced, but I wasn't." She gazes at Marcus with a blush giving a psychotic smile. "Scare was an understatement!!! I was ecstatic!!!" She stands up towering Marcus. "His screams hungered me more to inflict pain!!! I just love to gain control of one's life!!!" She shouts giving the same smile. Marcus blinks his eyes.

Marcus: "I can't judge you for that nature. Use it for group survival. Traits like that would be helpful. Remember not to go overboard."

Zombie: "Ah!" A zombie missing its legs crawls downstairs at them.

Marcus: I'm gonna need more with that." Marcus shoots the zombie with his Dingo.

Thunder crackles signal a new wave. Saeko smirks.

Saeko: It's a man's decision after all.

Marcus and Saeko with face masks entering the room blasting spiders looking to cause trouble they managed to clear the room gazing at the main roots protecting a cell.

The room shakes while the room grew foggy.

Marcus: "Don't hold back! Use what I taught you!" They aim their weapons getting back to back. They watch Thrashers climbed through the floors while spiders drop from the ceiling behind them.

Saeko: "I love, too.~" She smirks under the mask while the horde charges.

They fired at the horde from opposites sides of the room slowly circling gaining eyes of their environment. A Thrasher tank the shots and goes to punch Saeko only for her to pull Marcus and her from its radius.

She reloads while a burst of electricity spews from her causing the Thrasher to stagger. Marcus ends it barraging his Pack-Dingo causing the Thrasher to explode into goo.

More goes to break their solid defense.

Marcus: "Split!!" They do so taking opposites sides of the room. They fired their weapons down their hall and switch sides. They continued his either switching sides or Zig Zagging between the four pillars in the center of the room.

A Thrasher goes to crush Marcus's skull only for him to dive rolling to his feet while it crashes his fist into the wall causing pebbles to hit the grassy and smooth floor.

The room shakes as Saeko kills a Thrasher barreling toward her.

Marcus: "Now!" Saeko pulls her mask down blowing a bubble only for it to pop.

(Announcer) Burakuu: "Ka-Boom!" The room engulfs into the light while spiders and Thrashers hit the ground or explode into blue goo covered in flames.

The room shakes while the main roots slowly lose their strong grip around the cell. The wall to the cell crumbled as Saeko and Marcus gazed at each other, aim their weapons entering. They walked down the short wall to see a gate and in it was (Ultimis) Takeo.

This Takeo was older than the one Marcus talked to, yet he was skin to bones, his dead veins are visible to the world while his eyes were dead. Marcus's eyes widen while (Ultimis)Takeo looks at the two.

(Ultimis)Takeo: "Hmph, you look familiar." He gazes at Marcus while Saeko's eyes glance to his only for her to look back. "And you." He gazes at Saeko. "You may have a different appearance like mine, but you're eyes hold the warrior I seek since I was a child."

Saeko opens the gate and took a knee in front of him.

Saeko: "We just met. You suffer in this underworld like us, it must be painful."

(Ultimis) Takeo: "You're sadly, mistaken." He gets up walking out of the cell, approaching Marcus. He stops while they gaze into each other eyes. Through Marcus's eyes, the image of mid-age Takeo appeared before returning to (Ultimis) Takeo. "What is you're name boy?"

Marcus: "Marcus...Marcus Knight." (Ultimis) Takeo takes his eyes from him thinking.

(Ultimis) Takeo: "Knight?" He looks up at him. "You're redeeming the souls from the Realm's conducted with evil." Marcus stumbles.

"H-how do you know?"

"A voice was crying out to me. 'Knight: redeemer of souls will march the lands you stand on.' The pain I suffered, did not go to waste."

Saeko: "What do you mean this, not the underworld?" (Ultimis) Takeo looks back and approaches Saeko standing at the cell gates.

(Ultimis) Takeo: "That can't be explained." He was staring at her while Saeko looks up at him. He was few inches taller. "You're in love, with that boy." He gazes at Marcus that blushes while Saeko does the same and nods. "When a seed blossom. A woman is bound by the man they love. Named the trait from the Bushido Code."

"Loyalty." He hums happily but gazes up at her pouring seriousness from his eyes. " If that so, you're breaking that rule." Saeko stumbles back, with her heart shatter. "You call yourself a samurai? Unspeakable." Marcus goes to stop this, but Saeko raised her hand to Marcus, stopping him. "You're Loyalty is a smell of street dog. Why followed the code you're going to break?"

"I love him." She avoids her eyes from him.

(Ultimis) Takeo: "You found it." Saeko looks up at him. "When the moon rises and the sun dies. Will it rise once more?"

"...Yes." Saeko answers.

" I followed the Emperor blinded by the sense of Loyalty. That word comes in two forms. Blind and Sight." He looks to Marcus with Saeko. "The world is always surrounded by darkness, but when you find light. " He places his finger in the center of her chest. "That light blaze for other's guidance. When the light dies another blaze." He stops while Saeko looks up to him with new-found respect.

(Ultimis) Takeo goes to a table with a scabbard and a bag. He opens it revealing a Katana reflecting his face. He grabs another approaching Saeko.

(Ultimis) Takeo: "This blade is mine. I would like to disparted with this." He hands Saeko his Katana. "Me." She looks up at him, horrified.

Saeko: "I-I can't take this!"

"Nonsense, the bond you two shared is more than enough to satisfy me." He walks back into his cell and unsheathes the katana: Throwing the board away. "I would like you to be my Akane." Saeko stares at Takeo until taking his offer. (Ultimis) Takeo got to his knees place the edge of the katana on his gut.

(Ultimis) Takeo: "Knight." This gains his attention. "Continued this journey, the spirit doors are open when you're time comes." He stabs himself while Saeko cuts his off.

His body glows until gold particles turned into an artifact.

Saeko: "What is that?" She reaches for it only for Marcus to grab it first.

They engulf into the purple light shooting from the room and into the stormy skies leaving a bloody Katana in the cell.
