Hide Me, Mister Billionaire!

“No one should lay a hand on my wife. If anyone of you touches a single strand of her hair, I’ll be able to commit a massacre in no time.” – LL When Zella Albert wakes up in the middle of a King’s bed with no memory of what her identity was, she tried to insist answers from one of the Cassano members with a knife, threatening to slit his throat if they don’t reveal who she was. Until Leo Luciano showed up in the middle of the ruckus and claimed her to be his wife. But is Leo truly her husband or is just an impostor who tried to win his heart and kill her instead? ------------ [WARNING: MATURE CONTENT ON THE LATER CHAPTERS] ------------- “Kiss me if you need to prove our love. I can’t seem… to remember everything.” Leo’s lips turned pale. Zella was an observant. That slight change in his lips grew a suspicion in her. Why would he hesitate to kiss his wife? Is she really his wife? Leo didn’t even know what to have as an excuse. This time, he should be reckless. He approached her, closing the gap, placing his hands in his waist, pulling her closer to him. Zella got surprised, and looked up. His charm exuded through those smoldering eyes. Even though he’s not glaring, it looked at her with attention. Zella caught her breath. She tiptoed one of her foot. Leo brought his hand to her cheek, tucking her hair behind her ear. A feather light touch and it turned her on. Why do Zella feel he was skeptical with his every move? Like he doesn’t want to touch her? Leo didn’t desire to have a romantic relationship for now. But Zella came, and he had to act as a husband taking care of his wife. Besides, if he let Zella out of the mansion, they’re going to take the blame of hiding a death convict fugitive inside their house. The Cassanos will guarantee a guillotine death. This is all for their safety. “Like this…” Leo leaned in. ------ Updates will be regular since this will be part of Webnovel Spirity Awards 2022. ------ The cover is not owned by the author. Carried Away

Leo pinned Zella down on the bed while planting sloppy kisses down her chin and neck. She threw her bra away from the comforter and let Leo squeezed in her nipples.

In sync moans and desirable thoughts, no one wandered around his mind but his crotch rubbing through her cave opening. Zella doesn't have enough time to resist, but when they're reaching the climax of their steamy session, someone banged on the door.

Zella pulled her lips and tongue away from Leo, jolting awake. She opened her eyes as the hard knock continued. Leo realized what it was and got disappointed for the members to ruin his moment with his wife. Zella lowered her hands, asking, "Do you expect a visitor?"

Leo turned his head to the door, groaning, "I was about to go south."

"Go north for now," Zella assured. She planted a long kiss to his lips and Leo knocked his head down in her shoulder. Zella hoisted him up, pushing gently away, trying to make him stand and come at the door.

Leo picked up the bathrobe and his underwear at the floor lazily. Zella tangled her naked body on the comforters as she watched Leo covered his Adonis-like body. The banging continued, and Leo yelled, "Wait up!"

He tied the robe's ribbon around his waist and made sure he's well-covered.

Zella lay down by the side as he reached for the door.

When he opened it, Randall's sweaty face welcomed Leo by the door frame.

Randall gasped for air, recovering from the sudden run he made from parting Louise ways earlier. Leo got puzzled from where he came from. He thought his comrade had taken the rest for the night and let the work sink in for tomorrow.

"Why are you sweating a lot?"

Randall wiped away some but it still continued. He clicked his tongue.

"I have something important to say. About the progress of the plan I had for…"

Zella sat up from the bed, adjusting the sheets to cover her shoulders, and her long hair covering her flawless back. Randall peeked in if Leo's wife was there, and she is. They must be in the middle of a married couple session.

Randall got skeptical when Zella's eyes landed on the door. She isn't frustrated at all. In fact, Zella's eyes were emotionless. Randall clenched his jaw, took a step, whispering, "Let's talk at the conference room. It's confidential and I don't afford for your wife to know it."

Leo peeped in a little and doesn't go well with Randall's idea. Still, he had no choice but to get away from Zella's ears. Randall gave him a thumbs-up, convincing him well.

They went upstairs. Randall paced back and forth. Leo rested his hand underneath his chin, knowing too well that this time Randall had moved without his notice, but ended up bringing fair results.

Driving away the inspection team is by far harder when you go for the technicalities. Another tactic they thought was to let Hailey be Leo's mistress, but he couldn't afford for Zella to get hurt.

She's on the verge of regaining her memory after a few months, and Leo doesn't want that to happen. As long as he can grow some memories together—new and fresh memories, something she had never seen before—he would do it longer as he lives.

Leo couldn't lose Zella. Not her, not their relationship, and certainly, not HIS life.

"She's too fragile, Leo. I never thought her heart would be too soft. I was moved, too, that she's that generous and genuine unlike her mother. I'm telling you the truth here, because we talked a few, then I kissed her."

Leo doesn't seem fazed with the kiss. He got too bothered on why Louise had to lose her focus on tailing. Leo propped his elbows at the top of the table, snapping at Randall, "Maybe she's fooling you, too?"

Randall stopped from walking, and rushed to the chair, scoffing, "Do you think I'm a fool? I can see how she lost gait and stature after I stole her kiss. It must be her first, because she entirely lost her composure, Leo. She wouldn't make a fuss about it if it isn't."

Leo knew what he's talking about. Certainly, some women get too astonished with a guy's kiss without their permission. It's their way of admitting how fast guys were to make their hearts skipped a beat. When someone kissed a woman, they wade in, letting someone succumb it for real.

Some men were overwhelmed by the touch of a woman, too. Randall isn't one of them. He's completely a fool, someone who's just after a fling and not a serious relationship.

"You're such a player, Randall. I wish I had done your ways. No, I'm not going to do that since Laina is my first love," Leo smiled.

Randall didn't correct him with the name, either. He must be occupied with Louise Shelton's lips. He retrieved the whiskey, planning to drink until midnight with his boss.

"Louise is a first love, too, Leo," Randall admitted.

"You admitted it to me last time, right? The moment you saw her, you saw sparks. There are a lot of hearts fluttering around the frame the second you laid eyes on her. It's the classic story," Leo shrugged.

If Randall were to confess something, it's a halfway true. He treated it as a lie first, a denial that couldn't be scraped off, as if labeling it as fake would eventually leave him alone. But no, that way has pissed Randall every single time.

He never told his first love, but now that he's talking about, Leo knew how much Randall has changed.

"It's not like first, first love, Leo. In fact, I fell in love with someone else before her. Though, those women just played with me."

Randall slid in the chair and put the whiskey in front of him. They both chinked glasses first, gulping the contents down over. Randall coughed up with the burning sensation trudging all the way to his esophagus.

"Played well with you? I don't see Randall being played before. Do you date someone before you become a Cassano?" It's rare to see Leo asking too many questions at the same time. Randall chuckled, and wagged his hands.

He leaned back, uttering, "I date someone. There are two of them. One is a bit longer, the other one is shorter. I don't want to talk about those two gals at all, but they made my life get as much as influence I'd get."

Leo nodded, motioning for him to go on. He's fascinated with their stories, as always. Randall isn't that all talkative with his personal life. They're friends and comrades for a few years, but they haven't talked about their relationships outside of their circle.

"I never dated someone, so I'm very much a good listener when someone got dumped at dating stage," Leo snickered. Randall laughed. His guffaw was laced by sadness. Leo sensed how much Randall longed for a woman to date. And now that Louise have come, Randall must have that impulsive as he was. Leo smiled sadly.

"You know how much I liked to be with woman before. I was a king of attraction when I'm still on university. Because the moment I walked in, I'm like a magnet. A lot of girls attached themselves to me when I'm in bar."

It must be his good times. All of it was the ones Randall missed the most.

"Sadly, my fortunate life got taken away from me. It's sudden, and you know all of the details, Leo. I never got to learn how to take care of one's business, so I let it go bankrupt."

An evidence of devastation was all over his story. It radiated to Leo. They all came from somewhere, being nowhere for a long time, then got to go back to the place where they feel at home.

"I dated many women. More likely, spend nights with them. But I only dated two, for real. That was serious, and I had to admit, I liked them before they walked out of my life."

Leo stayed there, not judging him with every words coming out of his mouth.

"Then I targeted to date Louise Shelton now. Wow. That was… a plot twist Randall has been waiting to come."

Randall hitched the whiskey and nearly filled the glass up into its mouth.

"I wanted to ask you this, Randall. Do you think Louise will like you?"

Randall didn't halt from pouring down the alcohol. He swirled the contents, sniffing in, before taking a sip, as if it's the first time Randall tasted its extravagance.

He licked his lips, putting down the glass, and thought for a while.

"How can she be? I'm a bad guy who kills innocent people because of an order I need to carry out."

No one can fall in love with a bad guy--or at least Randall thought it would.
