Prologue

YANG MIYUN

There's an odd feeling you get when your friends are your brothers. It seems like your privacy can get leaked at any second, or—perhaps—your brother may accidentally reveal one secret or two about you. However—somehow—the relationship between both parties remains the same; moreover, sometimes, you seem to grow closer. Yet, the arguments and fights never stop—just siblings' things.

When you have an overprotective brother the same age (but he thinks he's older because of some months of difference) makes everything more complex. Nevertheless, I can deduce why my brother became like a guardian: he has a best friend (my bully) that almost every time we meet has something nasty to say. And unfortunately, he had made me cry before.

Presently, High School is almost over, and I must give my best for the remaining time; nevertheless, my brother and I unexpectedly ended up wrapped in a rumor—drama started at the worst time possible. Yet, I'm grateful that—at least—my friends have my back and believe my side of the story. I don't know about my brother and his mates, but hopefully, he gets the same support. I wish I could spend more time with him and our friends, but the most time I spend away from his best friend—the better. We don't hate each other, but we aren't good friends—even close friends—he likes to tease and bother me whenever he sees me. That kiddo doesn't watch what he says and can become aggressive without care—like he doesn't even realize it.

The last year is ringing in my ear, telling me the end of another chapter is close. I'm excited for everything to end; however, I still believe my High School isn't ready to say goodbye to me.
