Irony Part 4

Bang!!!

A seemingly inaudible gunshot was fired by Puggle 5's sniper rifle on the upper floor as it pierces the walls and hit Tetsu on the head.

The fast bullet trail was noticed by Duckbill as he makes an immediate call.

Ring.

Puggle 5 picks up the incoming call and asked, "What is it?"

"Based on the bullet you just fired, it was a live round isn't it?! Do I really have to remind you that we need the targets alive?!!" Duckbill asked.

"I didn't know it was loaded with a real bullet, my instincts got the better of me I'm sorry" Puggle 5 replied.

"I didn't think your veteran experiences has some negative impacts affecting you this early" Duckbill said.

"Yeah, I've never been to a field work for a while. But don't worry, my shot seem to have missed its target" Puggle 5 replied.

"So what was it that you fired at on the upper floor?" Duckbill asked.

"I noticed a tremble on the walls up there" Puggle 5 replied as he is currently observing what he saw and fired at using the scope on his rifle.

He searches inside of the room for a while.

"The room seems empty and the bullet just pierced through the wall and hits some kind of a metal surface" Puggle 5 added after a thorough observation.

"The building has been unprofessionally built and is still incomplete. I assume there will be constant creeking from the walls and metal pipes all over the place" Duckbill replied.

"Worry about that later, for now, your main focus is to scout the building from the bottom floors all the way to the top. We will enter the building soon and you're in charge on watching our way and also our backs closely" Duckbill added.

At the upper floor, Tetsu is held by the students as he is in daze from the shot.

His quirk seemed to be capable of stopping the bullet from piercing his skin, instead leaving him only a mild case of dizzyness, Monoma thought after observing him.

Monoma pause to think for a moment.

He decided to request everyone to be really quiet and stay down to the ground using his gestures.

He then said quietly, "Stay away from door entrances and don't make any sudden movements when anything surprising happens like gunfire, screams, explosions, footsteps, or tremors. Asses the situation calmly. A sniper is monitoring the building through the windows, not to mention that most of the rooms in this building has no doors, especially here at the upper floor. The sniper is possibly observing us through the sounds and movements we make"

Tetsu wakes up in a dizzy feeling and said, "What just happened?"

"You were shot with a gun point blank on the head" Monoma replied as he shows the squashed bullet shell that hit his head.

"The enemy do not seem to care about leaving us alive or not" Monoma added.

"What could they want from us then?" Kendo asked.

"I don't know, but if I were to guess, they could just only want to inflict as much terror to us students as much as possible. We don't know how many snipers are out there so the best thing for now is to stay right here" Monoma replied.

"So we're just going to sit around and wait for them to catch us?" Tetsu asked.

"And the scream we just heard before. It could have been from grounded troops that attacked our classmates and are now slowly advancing to get us" Kendo added.

...

"I agree, let me and Tetsu go down to find help or regroup with others" Monoma suggested.

"Fine, but as much as possible, don't get into any confrontation in order to not attract any attention" Kendo replied.

"I understand" Monoma respond.

Monoma and Tetsu are on their way, quickly but quietly sneaking down through the stairways as they are whispering to each other;

"Where should we start looking for them?" Tetsu asked.

"I guess we should start at the 15th floor. It's a good floor to start as some of them could have just started searching for us too or hiding inside one of the rooms. They wouldn't go that far" Monoma replied.

They reached the 15th floor and begin searching each one of the rooms.

"We should look at rooms where there are few or no window openings present, as it is a good place to hide. Knowing them, they should be well hidden there already" Monoma suggested.

After a while.

Ring.

An incoming call for Bill (Duckbill).

Bill notices and picks it up.

"What is it this time?" Bill asked.

"I found 6 students all gathered in a small storage room through their heat signatures at the 3rd floor" Pug (Puggle 5) replied.

"Good, take them down as quick as possible" Bill said.

"Affirmative" Pug replies as he switches control of the drone to manual.

Pug switches back at his rifle.

He grabs a bulky size ammo and loads it in the gun.

He aims at the walls of the room through his scope.

Inside of the room, Shoda is advising everyone to stay quiet and still.

"Please everyone calm down, help is on its way" Shoda said

Bang.

The gun fires silently and the ammo hits the wall.

Beep, beep, Boom!!

The ammo made a beeping sound then creates a small explosion.

It punches a hole in the wall that exposed the students open.

What?! Shoda thought.

Pug quickly switches control to the drone.

Clink.

The drone activates the device it is carrying and launches 3 metal spheres with spiky tubes around its surfaces that resembles that of a nail mace.

It bounces and rolls in front of them.

Bang!!

No one was prepared as the spiky tubes were hurled all over that pierces their skins.

Bzzt.

The tubes generates strong amounts of electricity as it tazes everyone.

The room was filled with sparks of electricity and screams of their pain.

Each of the students slowly drops down to the ground unconscious.

Shoda was on his knees and is struggling from the pain.

He looks at what it came from as Pug locked eyes with him through the monitor of the drone.

Shoda grabs the several live tazing tubes that got stuck in his skin.

He strongly throws it to the air without any clear vision.

The shards aimlessly flew in the dense forest trees as he faints last to the ground.
