False Prophet

The prestigous UA building. Early in the morning and high school students can be seen going in and out in several classrooms.

A moment passes by and surprisingly, nobody can be seen outdoors as all of them are already in the rooms anticipating their class to start.

On each room filled with variant of students raising their hands and saying their name one by one from a regularatory roll call of their respective teachers.

Ding, dong.

A ring from a school bell signals the start of the homeroom. A teacher in a tracksuit approaches the newly closed metal gate.

His appearance has a gray colored skin and a brick slab shape as a form for his head. He seems a little groggy with his visible eyebags and constant yawning.

He placed his hands on the cemented road and it began to move in a fluid like manner. The cement climbs up the gate and appears to be fortifying it.

From the outside, Monoma, Tetsu, and Jurota can be seen running with all their might.They halt near the closed entrance and saw the gates being covered with cement creating an identical structure to the walls beside it.

"I have an idea. Lets jump through the walls together and run like hell. I'm sure Cementoss sensei will lose interest chasing us if we can reach the classroom, he's always sleepy in the morning remember" Monoma suggested.

"All right, I'll give you both a lift" Jurota said.

With Jurota's muscular build, he carries both Tetsu and Monoma with each of his hands and prepares to jump over the walls.

From the other side of the wall, Monoma flew and landed face plant in the grass field.

Cementoss saw him fall and said, "Hey, stop!"

as he looks at Monoma from a fair distance.

Monoma stands up and wipes his self clean from the dirt.

He looks back and said, "Hey, lets go r-"

Monoma looks back and no one came along him.

Cementoss began sprinting to catch down Monoma.

Monoma runs away from him as he angrily thought, those bastards got me bad!

After a while, Jurota and Tetsu both jumps over the wall. They look around to see if anyone is on guard.

"Coast is clear, let's run for it" Tetsu said.

"Right behind you" Jurota replied as they head towards the class.

It is at lunch time in the cafeteria and Monoma is carrying his meal placed on a black metal tray. He finds a table to eat and saw Jurota and Tetsu quietly sitting in front of their food.

"You know, I came up with that kind of idea as well. But I considered you guys friends so I hesitated, or so I thought" Monoma said with disappointment in his tone.

"We're sorry, we had to do it. We have to consider the needs of the majority over the minorty. In our case, its you against us" Jurota explained.

Do you really want to get on my nerves again, Monoma thought in anger.

"Besides, we got ourselves in trouble when Sekijiro-sensei was in a mood after he caught us sneaking in the class late" Tetsu added

"Its Vlad!"

Sekijiro (Vlad is his hero name) said while standing in front of them.

To their surprise, food and water went flying in the air.

Vlad waves his hand and gushes of blood comes flowing out and catches it all. It places it back and the blood reverts back inside him.

"What seems to be the problem? Vlad-sensei" Monoma nervously said.

"First off, you got in detention for being late this morning so I'll held your punishment soon" Vlad said

Give me a break, Monoma thought.

"Second, there was news about an incident that happened in the street where you go to school this morning. I heard that it was about a dangerous thief on the loose, did you happen to witness it on the way here?" Vlad asked.

"Oh that, we tried to capture him but" Monoma said.

"What happened?" Vlad asked.

Well...

(Flashback to their way to school)

"Help there's a thief who got my purse! It has all my life pension inside it!" a woman can be heard screaming.

The thief runs past Monoma, Tetsu, and Jurota.

The three of them were lost in shock until Monoma came to his senses upon motivating himself with a slap on the face.

"Lets chase it down! We know this street like the back of our hands. There should be another route we can take to keep up with his speed" Monoma said.

"I know a way, follow me!!" Tetsu said.

They start running down to follow Tetsu to where he is leading them.

After a moment of running, Monoma noticed and said, "Is this really the correct way? I feel like we are running in circles"

Tetsu stops and said, "Wait let me check again" as he check the neighborhood around "Yeah, I'm pretty this is it"

"Get away!!"

The wolf thief can be heard running in the street bumping and pushing around civilians.

It quickly sprints past the alley where they were currently at.

"There lets go get him!!" Monoma said and started running ahead of them.

Jurota and Tetsu keeps up behind him while they chase the thief.

Hmm, who are these kids? the wolf thought after noticing them behind him.

"I won't let you get away with that lady's money!" Monoma said.

Tcch, fine, the wolf thought as he begans increasing his speed. He makes a quick turn to the left in another path.

Monoma lost visual on the thief.

An old man's voice can be heard screaming on the direction where the wolf went.

There they see a sheep morphed old man in crutches fell in the ground and enduring the pain in his knee.

They stopped and Monoma asked, "Are you alright sir"

"I'm fine, but that thief also stole my purse as I'm walking on the street. Please, I need it for my sick daughter" the old man said.

Monoma looks ahead but the wolf was already at far distance since its nowhere to be seen.

Monoma was determined after saying, "Tetsu, is there a new route we can take to chase him?"

"Of course, I'll lead the way" Tetsu replied.

The three started running again.

The chase went on until a thought entered Monoma's mind.

"Wait" Monoma said and halted the two of them.

"If I remember it clearly. The wolf went to hide the purse in his clothes when we started keeping up with him. He did it when he started to outrun us. So how did the old man knew there was another victim on the purse and why would it suspect that the first purse wasn't his in the first place?" Monoma said.

"Well, because it looks fancier for a man to have" Jurota replied.

"But still, he could be the thief. It must be his quirk that tricked us" Monoma said.

(End flasback)

"We went back where we found the old man but he was nowhere to be seen. We decided to just go back to school but we were already very late" Monoma said.

"It disappointing we know" Jurota said after leaving a wide sigh.

"Well don't worry yourselves about it too much" Vlad replied.

"Why so?" Tetsu asked.

"There was a hero on vacation that was around to capture the thief. He said that he saw you chase that criminal as well" Vlad replied.

"That's odd, there was no one following us to chase the thief all those time" Monoma said.

"I think you were too focused on the criminal so you never noticed" Vlad assured.
