The Other Nation

I apologize... Brother... But this is for the best." I said directly to him and left the him in the room alone and as I can see that he still couldn't believe that his younger brother would betray everyone in the nation.

It's been a decade since the last war, now I'm preparing the army and try making a scene to the two nations relationship to be broken for the war she wanted.

"I'm sorry... in advance" I said to myself knowing everyone will hated me if I continue this but as I said... it's for the best of the nation and for my people.

This must work out somehow for the whole country... right?

I was at my office talking to my brother and keep apologizing to him over and over again even though it's pointless.

"Brother... I apologize but I will continue this war myself and for the future".

"You... Are you trying to make a fool of yourself?! I'm your brother! And I order you to stop saying such bullshit like this!" He keeps saying those such words, I know it's not good, but if I can't gave her a satisfying war, she'll kill me.

"You Grace? We have a foreign visitor, it's from the West-North Nation. They want to take about something" I look at the door and saw one of the royal maids came to my room, I didn't notice that she came so fast without any noise.

"Send them in" I said as she leave. She quickly went out of my room and opened the door letting a man in my office. He was wearing their traditional Silk clothing with the color mint green, and with a white band on his forehead. He has a beautiful face of a man but as far as I know the ruler of that nation is not just any normal ruler who has mercy like my father.

"I am San Hua, from the Western North Empire of Quanshen. I want to talk about something between our nation" He said.

I glanced at my brother knowing what will happen next. "Please take a seat" i said as he sit on the couch where everything will start.

He looks around for a while but then looked up to meet my eyes.

I can see his eyes change into something like anger but then he calmed down.

"We heard from your nation that you wanted a war for some selfish reasons. As a emperor of my nation, I can't deal with this delusional problems. So, If you wanted a war. I'll give you a war" He said leaving my office with looking back at us.

"I knew it! I FUCKING KNEW IT!!" Brother Lance said and glared at me. "If keep daydreaming like this, our country will be dead! The Quanshen Empire is the most powerful nation is this world. They got the best magician, army and power, not like us. Please Luca Maximilian, stop this war for the sake of us"

"No" I said and turn away from my brother.

"NO!!! Don't even try to deny this! You're the next leader of our nation and yet you try to make a war for nonsense reasons?? How selfish you are" he said and walk away to the door and slammed it hard as he can.

Should I call for a backup?

I'll try to send a message to the Eastern Nation, I wish they can help even a little.

"A massage from the other nation? How come?" I stated and immediately look at the message from the Southern nation.

"A war? Well I don't have any choice to help my friend. Nefer, Get ready we're having a visitor from the South."

"A visitor from the South? It's been a year since they last visited Our nation" Nefertem said to me. "Well, Your Highness. You must finish your work first before getting ready for the visitor". "Ahh yes... yes! Tell me when they are coming here" I said with a flustered face.

"Luca are you ready?" Lance said to me with a worried face. "I'll be fine brother" I said.

Few hours just pass and I just lost my self from sort of stuffs, I almost got lost in the dessert. I can't believe that Rukha can live in this some hot place and full of dessert.

I didn't see a soul but I knew that people are there. The air is very hot and humid which made me sweat like hell. After about an hour of walking in the heat, I finally reached a place where it cool down but not really much. I could hear a loud sound of drums from inside so I decided to go inside.

"Do you like the music in here? it's been a while Luca" I didn't notice someone is behind me. I turn around and saw Rukha my friend from here.

"Did you just walk in the dessert? How many times should I tell you that ride a camel or a horse, you idiot" He said in a sarcastic tone.

"I apologize, Rukha the reason why I'm here is... I need your help in the near war."

I said, "I see, then I'll give some of my people. That's the only thing I can help you" Rukha said happily.

"Thank you" I gave him a smile. "What kind of people do you want me to bring?"

"I want someone who has good skills in fighting and using magic."

"That's easy" Rukha smiled and I nodded my head. "I need all the help I can get" I said.

"You know that my nation here Is second best in this kind of things, I'm just reckless to rule. That's all I can say" he said.

"Haha yes I know that... Thank you again Rukha."

"You're Welcome~" , "I'll be going now, I wish that my nation is still in good condition.

I looked up at the sky while I was riding a camel back to the South, and I thought of everything that have happened in past years. From my friends death, to our defeat in Egypt, all the people that we used to be our enemy is now one of us, like Rhuka and Nefer which is my few friends there.

"Its getting dark, My lord. We should get rest" As-Har said which is one of the General of the army.

"We can't rest, we need to continue walking. I can't afford to see my people dying cause I can't get back in time" I said a serious tone of voice.

"Of course Your Majesty. But I think it would be better if we stop somewhere to stay for night" As soon as he finished, we arrived at a village.

"This village seems abandoned. Let's set up camp here. You sleep and I will make sure that everyone is safe and sound" As soon as As the General finished.

As the sun came down, I saw the beauty of this night, I saw the Great Sphinx and some Statues here. It look great more in the night.

"Thank you, General As-Har" I sigh and kept looking at the Starry night of Egypt.

I wish my nation is still standing...
