Lucien went around the settlement for 2 hours killing and eating goblin patrols. he was sure that he had devoured more than 30 goblins yet they kept on coming though he found out that they had noticed did the gradual decrease of their numbers and had increased the number of their patrol squad. no matter thier low class and bloodline, they were still mayhems and wee bound to be intelligent.

he had gotten used to hand-to-hand combat and had long sheathed his daggers.

" show me my level and the stats"

Lucien ordered after devouring the last goblin beneath him.

"gradually am getting stronger" he thought as his lips bloomed to a soft smile.

he suddenly head loud footsteps approaching his current location. he closed up his status bar and climbed a tall tree making sure he perfectly camouflaged within it's the leaves, after a while, a 7.1ft tall goblin with a wooden club accompanied by four smaller goblins arrived at the location.

" so the king sends hobs now" Lucien thought with a large grin then smirked.

unfortunately he was a little bit late, if Lucien was still in level 1 or 2 he might have felt threatened but now he is a proud level 6.

the lower goblins bare gave him enough exp and his desire was to the bigger ones now.

the hob goblin felt a large amount of killing intent watch over him and he looked around his surrounding he deeply frowned when he could not find anything.

" I almost let myself get detected, I need to calm down. the preys won't Lucien chanted inwardly as you reinforced his will.

" brethren, the killer strikes again. we must kill this abnormality before it causes any more deaths" the hobgoblin said, his voice was quite low and gruffy, his expression serious. "the blood on the floor is warm and must have been recently shed, the killer is has to be nearby"

one of the smaller goblins said in a squeaky voice, his expression vicious, he was holding a broken spare with a rusted tip.

The hobgoblin raised up his wooden cup in alert and looked around

"scan" Lucien mumbled as he looked at the hob with eyes of a predator

he speedily launched at the hob's huge face and mercilessly clawed his eyes rapidly temporarily blinding him.

he sliced off his right hand, the one with the cub and detached the heads of the other goblins.

all this happened in a few seconds. after some minutes, gru regained his eyesight and saw all of his team had been killed. it happened so swiftly that he couldn't spot thier killer.

he panically ran to the settlement.

lucien had no time to eat the Dead goblins cause he stealthy followed the panicking hob inside the settlement.

gru ran till he reached in front of the huge tent at the middle of the settlement.

there he found a bulky goblin of about 7 ft tall seating on the wooden throne.

the goblin had blemished red skin instead of the normal green.

"my King" gru saluted as it knelt on a knee

" the invader was too strong that I couldn't see how it killed my subordinate " it reported shamefully " we need to take precautions" he added

" child calm down and narrate what exactly happened" the red goblin said, his tone was extremely sinister and chilly.

gru calmly narrated everything else that happened to goblin King his head still bowed

" you fool!!, you led him right to us!!"

the goblin King screeched and threw a huge piece of bone at the startled bowing hob reducing it's face to paste and instantly killing it.

A young human girl of about 17 years old and with a well endowed body and short pink hair was standing beside the king's throne, watched the entire scene. on her hand was a bowl of fruits.

She involuntary shivered on seeing how the goblin King ended the life of it's subordinate.

her already pale face that was filled with cuts and bruises became paler.
