Chapter 14
"How are you? Sorry to call you this early morning. Did I wake you up?" He asked.
Her eyes wide opened and immediately shook her head as if Michael Angelo sees her. "No. No… No… I already awake when you call. By the way, is this your new number?" She asked.
Michael Angelo took a deep breath. " This is Yohan's. I lost my phone yesterday." A minute of silence has passed. ' That's the reason why she didn't call you yesterday. ' She thought.
"How are you?" They both asked in unison.
"I'm fine." They both responded. They chuckled.
"I thought you forgot to call me. I was waiting for your call the whole day, and yet I didn't receive any from you." she said.
"I'm sorry about that. I was just busy in work here, and then I found out I lost my phone. So, I borrowed Yohan's phone to call mom and ask your number from her. I'm sorry if I waited you yesterday." he explained sincerely.
Athena breathed a sigh of relief at the young man's explanation. She thought she was not important to him that's why he didn't call.
Athena didn't know about what happened to Michael Angelo. The real reason why he didn't call yesterday is that he got a high fever due to the wounds in his arm from the bullet that has a poison. And Yohan just messaged Michael Angelo's parents pretending that he is the guy and told them that he will be gone for five days. Michael Angelo just woke up thirty minutes ago. The first thing that came to his mind is to call his fiancé. And Yohan told him that he already contacted Michael Angelo's parents,
"I know I worried you so much for not calling you right away. I am so sorry…" He stopped when Athena interrupted. "It's fine. Don't worry about me… I am happy that you already called." She smiled.
" Thank you. I make it up to you. Once I go home. " He said sincerely.
"Ah. I will buy a new phone, so I could call you later. Yohan is also busy, so I should give it to him." He said apologetically.
"O-okay. Please say my thanks to Yohan."
"Okay. I'll hang up now." He said.
"O-okay." She said, but before she ended the call, she heard Michael Angelo said wait.
"What is it? Is there something you want to say?" she asked confused.
"I... I miss you." she is startled at what she heard from the guy. Her heart beats fast, and couldn't respond to what her fiancé said. When she recovered from what she heard, she grinned. "I miss you too. Come back home soon." She said with a shudder.
After they talked she decided to go down and cook breakfast for her parents. Her mood lit up. When her parents went to the kitchen, they both stunned at what they saw. Their daughter is cooking in the kitchen, with a wide smile on her face.
"Good morning sweetie." Her Dad greeted her.
She turned around to see her parents and greeted "Good morning Mom! Dad!" she exclaimed.
"What's that smile for?" Her mom gave her a suspicious look.
"Nothing. I just want to cook a breakfast for you guys." She shrugged.
"Breakfast is ready. Let's eat!" Her dad is wondering with her acts, but they think it is because of her fiancé.
"Yesterday, you were in a bad mood and now... you look happy. Does Michael Angelo called you?" Her mother asked directly.
She responded with a smile and never utter any single word. And her parents knew it. They continue eating.
After the breakfast, Athena went to her room to prepare for school.

Meanwhile in the Agent's hospital, The kids who have been kidnapped are already sent to their headquarters. Agent A is recovering He was discharged at the hospital by afternoon and went back to their headquarters. As he arrived at the headquarters, he asked someone to be him a new phone.
He was typing in his computer when Yohan arrived, "Here's your phone your highness." He said in sarcastic tone.
"Thank you. " He replied with grinned.
"Now you can call your lover whenever you want." Yohan teased him. He just shook his head with a smile on his face.
"How is your wound?" Yohan became serious.
"It's fine already. After I'm done reporting, I will go home immediately." He said
" I want to remind you that you should be careful next time. Imagine how your family especially your girlfriend will know about this, and they will saw you unconsciously lying on the hospital bed. You didn't want that to happen did you?" Michael Angelo sigh.
"Anyway how's the children?" Michael Angelo asked.
"The children they are safe now. Mr. Rodolfo, bring them to their respective families after they being treated." Yohan said
" I can't wait to turn down all the illegal business of that Mr. Lopez." he gritted his teeth and his jaw clenched.
"We have time for that. For now, prepare yourself for your wedding 3 weeks from now." Yohan reminded him.
"Yeah I know that."

Their headquarters are in the Metro. Michael Angelo and Yohan decided to eat at the nearest restaurant where Athena is schooling. He decided to visit his girlfriend after they eat.
After they ordered food, they both eat. After a while Yohan excuse himself to go to the restroom, so he decided to call Athena.
"Hey" after two rings Athena answered.
"Hi" He said and continue. "How have you been? Where are you now? Are you at school?" He asked sweetly.
"I'm fine. I'm done at school, so I'm now walking at the street. I decided to go to the mall nearby." She said.
"Oh. Are you with someone? I mean your friends?" Athena chuckled as she heard.
" Nah. I'm alone. I want to go there by mys--- HEY! GIVE ME. BACK MY BAG!" He was stunned when he heard Athena is shouting on the other line. "HELP, HELP SOMEONE Snatched MY BAG!"
"Athena! Where are you?!" But he didn't get any response from his girl. He decided to go outside the restaurant and look for Athena.
Athena chases the snatcher until they land in a corner of the alley. The girl was caught in her knee. "Give me back my bag. Please I will not report to the Police." the thief grinned.
"You got the courage to come here." he smirked and looked at the woman's back. Athena looked behind her, and saw two more of the thief's companions. The previous feeling felt doubled. She would have regretted not chasing the man anymore.
