Her mercy to His penitence

"Don’t do it love! Please. Am sorry I hurt you. How can I live without you? Forgive me. " The girl stood at the cross road. Tears streamed down her pale cheek as she debated between listening to his pleas or to her heart. She was tired and could no longer take any of it. He took everything from her yet she stayed until she felt that her soul was no longer alive. Each pain he caused chipped a little at her soul until there was nothing left to give. Traitorous Mother

She paced up and down feeling like a fool. Her room has been turned into a mess from all the shattered glasses and broken furniture.

No one approached or asked what was going on. They didn't have to. They didn't care enough to ask and this irked her even more.

She felt entitled to their love. As a wife and mother, they should make her their priority. But no! All her children chose to ignore her and make their spouses their priority.

As for her husband, their marriage was no longer a union of peace and tranquility. She had long broken it with her jealousy and his lack of care.

That was where it had begun. Where her anger issues and need for affection from everyone else started. She blamed them all.

Since she couldn't punish her husband, she turned her focus to his most treasured beings; their children. One may wonder how she felt causing them pain.
