Her mercy to His penitence

"Don’t do it love! Please. Am sorry I hurt you. How can I live without you? Forgive me. " The girl stood at the cross road. Tears streamed down her pale cheek as she debated between listening to his pleas or to her heart. She was tired and could no longer take any of it. He took everything from her yet she stayed until she felt that her soul was no longer alive. Each pain he caused chipped a little at her soul until there was nothing left to give. Time

Time was what many needed to grow wings. It was unfortunately what most lacked. For time was the only thing that could neither be bought nor bribed.

For Jasmine, it was in her favor. She got the chance to correct all her mistakes and avenge her grievances.

It was a bit different for Edgar. One of the people he believed he had wronged the most, was no longer alive.

The other was alive but he was unsure he would get a chance. Max had eventually left after they talked some more.

The tablet on the bedside buzzed indicating that he had a message. Feeling sleepless already, he decided to check it out.

Though his mood wasn't as bad as it had been before Max walked in, he was still feeling uncomfortable inside.

His eyes lit up upon viewing the plan that Jasmine and her companions came up with. At least he still had a mission to complete.
