Tears streamed down her pale cheek as she debated between listening to his pleas or to her heart. She was tired and could no longer take any of it. He took everything from her yet she stayed until she felt that her soul was no longer alive. Each pain he caused chipped a little at her soul until there was nothing left to give. The mastermind

The view from the night sky was breathtaking. The silvery beauty was especially dazzling tonight. With the little twinkling stars playing around it, the scene was serene to watch.

Unfortunately, the man was not seeing any of it. His gaze was focused on the sky yet, he couldn't see its beauty. The room was shrouded in darkness with the only source of light coming from the window.

White smoke could be seen snaking around the room from the cigarette between his fingers. At a glance, one could easily tell that it was a habit. For the way, he held it between his fingers told a story of a chain smoker.

One was accustomed to his habit and at some point accepted it. He didn't mind the acrid scent around the room. His heartbeat was steadily in his chest.

His entire body was hidden by the darkness except for his face which was in direct view of the moon. A long scar run along his left cheek marring his otherwise breathtaking face.
