THE PHOENIX

Episode 22

Lily sat nervously in the dimly lit hospital room, her fingers tightly gripping the edge of her chair. Her younger sister, Elena, sat beside her, eyes wide with concern.

"Lily, you have to tell me what happened," Elena implored, her voice quivering.

She was getting scared at each minute of time.

Lily took a deep breath, trying to find the right words to explain their mother's sudden hospitalization.

"Elena, Mom was at work yesterday, and something terrible happened. She collapsed in the office, and her coworkers called 911."

Elena's eyes filled with tears as she clutched Lily's hand. "Is she going to be okay? What did the doctor say?" She asked voice shaking.

Lily hesitated for a moment, her voice heavy with worry.

"The doctors ran some tests, and they found out that Mom has a serious heart condition. They said it's called 'coronary artery disease,' and it caused a blockage in her heart. That's why she collapsed." Lily sighed.

Elena's face turned pale, and she struggled to hold back tears.

"But can they fix it? Will Mom be okay?"

Lily tried to offer some reassurance.

"The doctors are going to do their best to help her. They mentioned a procedure called angioplasty, where they'll clear the blockage in her artery. It's risky, but it's the best chance she has."

Elena wiped away a tear, her voice filled with fear.

"And what if it doesn't work? What if something goes wrong?"

Lily hugged her sister tightly, tears welling up in her own eyes.

"We can't think about that right now, Elena. We have to stay strong for Mom. She's a fighter, and we have to believe that she'll make it through this. We're a family, and we'll get through this together."

As the sisters clung to each other in the hospital room, they knew that the road ahead would be filled with uncertainty and challenges. But their love and support for their mother would be unwavering, and they would face whatever came their way as a united family.

Elena sniffled, wiping her tears away, and then asked, "Lily, how much money is all of this going to cost? I heard that medical bills can be really expensive."

Lily sighed, knowing that the financial burden was a concern.

"I've spoken to the hospital staff, and they said they would work with us to figure out a payment plan. Mom's insurance should cover some of it, but we might need to find a way to cover the rest. We'll figure it out together, Elena. Right now, our focus should be on Mom's recovery."

Elena nodded, feeling a mix of fear and determination. "You're right, Lily. Mom needs us, and we'll do whatever it takes to help her get better. I won't let her down."

With newfound determination, Elena stood up from the chair and wiped her face clean of tears.

It was morning and another day for Green hill high school.

After a long walk , Elena successfully entered the school premises.

Instead of going towards her class, she changed to another direction towards an office.

She stopped at an office door and nocked.

Aunt Clara opened the door, her face lighting up when she saw Elena.

"My dear, you're early," she said with a warm embrace.

Elena nodded eagerly.

"Aunt Clara, I'm ready. I want to sign that contract and become a singer." Elena went straight to the point.

Aunt Clara smiled knowingly and led Elena into the cozy living room. There, another woman awaited them – Aunt Nora.

"Elena, this is Aunt Nora," Aunt Clara introduced.

"She's the one who can make your dream come true."

Aunt Nora studied Elena for a moment and then nodded.

"I've heard a lot about you. If you're as good as they say, we might just have a spot for you at Lexus City Record Label. But, darling, signing a contract here isn't just about talent; it's also about hard work and determination."

Elena, her heart racing, confessed, "I want this more than anything, but I don't have the money to sign a contract."

Aunt Nora chuckled.

"Don't worry about that. We'll work something out. But first, we need to know if your voice matches your ambition

You have to Sing for us." Aunt Nora pointed at the standing microphone.

"Okay" Elena nodded and walked towards the microphone.

"But you have to wear something more classic" Aunt Nora mentioned, staring at Elena's oddly wears.

"Oh!" Elena blushed in embarrassment.

"There is a dressing room over there" Aunt Nora pointed at a place.

"Choose some clothes and wear something more classic and sexy"

Elena nodded and walked towards the dressing room.

Few minutes later, Elena came out from the dressing with a stunning dress that will make man droll over her.

it was a pink cut short top that reveal her flat stomach and a pinkish skirt.

"You look beautiful Elena!" Aunt Clara commented.

"Thanks" Elena replied with a smile.

"That's better, you can start now" Aunt Nora said.

"Okay"

Elena walked towards the microphone once again.

"And also introduce yourself, just create a name for yourself, like your music name" Aunt Clara explained.

Elena nodded and started.

"Hi!, You can call me The Phoenix.

I like to sing my favorite song, Faded by Alan Walker" Elena introduced and began to sing.

You were the shadow to my light

Did you feel us?

Another star

You fade away

Afraid our aim is out of sight

Wanna see us

Alight

Where are you now?

Where are you now?

Where are you now?

Was it all in my fantasy?

Where are you now?

Were you only imaginary?

Where are you now?

Atlantis

Under the sea

Under the sea

Where are you now?

Another dream

The monster's running wild inside of me

I'm faded

I'm faded

So lost, I'm faded

I'm faded

So lost, I'm faded

These shallow waters never met what I needed

I'm letting go a deeper dive

Eternal silence of the sea, I'm breathing

Alive

Where are you now?

Where are you now?

Under the bright but faded lights

You've set my heart on fire

Where are you now?

Where are you now?

Where are you now?

Atlantis

Under the sea

Under the sea

Where are you now?

Another dream

The monster's running wild inside of me

I'm faded

I'm faded

So lost, I'm faded

I'm faded

So lost, I'm faded

Eden sat in the familiar classroom, his eyes scanning the sea of faces, searching for one in particular.

He had grown accustomed to seeing Elena's radiant smile and her captivating presence in this very room, but today, she was conspicuously absent.

A wave of unease washed over him as he couldn't find any signs of her.

He couldn't help but wonder why Elena wasn't in class. Was she sick? Did something happen to her? These thoughts raced through his mind, and he couldn't shake the concern he felt for her.

He told himself that he shouldn't care about her, that she was just another classmate, but his heart seemed to defy that logic.

"Why should I even care about her, she is nothing but a nobody"

As the minutes ticked by, Eden's anxiety grew, and he struggled to focus on the lesson.

He found himself drifting back to thoughts of Elena, wondering where she might be and if she was okay.

The more he pondered her absence, the more he realized that he did.

Eden stood up from his sit to walk out from the class, when Axel approached him with a frown.

"Congratulations cousin!, you have make yourself popular again" Axel said with sarcasm.

"Excuse me, what are you talking about?" Eden stare at Axel with a frown.

"Oh! you don't know yet, it is now hot all over the whole school.
