I still wonder why grandpa Yang called for me.

Eden thought.

Eden walked into a room and saw an old man with white beard sitting down and there was a big chess board in front of him with white and black chess piece.

"You called me" Eden said.

"Yeah!, you are here already, why don't we play some chess!" Grandpa Yang said pointing at the chessboard.

"You know, you always win" Eden replied.

"I have already provide you a sit" Grandpa Yang mentioned pointing at a sit.

"And you know I won't refuse" Eden smiled and sat down.

"So why do you call for my attention?" Eden asked playing a black chess piece.

"Have you moved on?" Grandpa Yang asked playing a white piece.

"No am not even thinking about it " Eden replied playing another piece.

"Why are you allowing the past to win over you?" grandpa Yang asked playing another piece.

"it's not,Am trying to get rid of it" Eden played another piece.

Grandpa Yang rubbed his white beard and stare at the chessboard.

"No you are not getting rid of it, it is getting rid of you" Grandpa hit down one of Eden black chess piece with his white piece.

Check!

Eden frowned staring at this.

"What do you mean?" Eden placed another piece on the board.

"Everyday you come back here, you always stay lonely.

You give up what makes you happy.

You always get drunk all the time.

You kept crying and blaming yourself.

Maybe you are really the shadow of yourself."

Grandpa Yang hit down another black chess piece.

Check!

Eden looked at grandpa Yang for sometime.

"I Can't do anything about it" Eden placed another chess.

"Maybe you can"

"How?"

"This is the time to correct your past mistakes.

Protect her at any cost.

always be there for her.

hold her tight like you never did before."

Grandpa Yang hit down another Eden black chess piece on the board.

Check!

"Who is her?" Eden asked confused.

"Elena!"

Grandpa Yang hit down the last piece on the board.

Elena stood under a shop roof, waiting for the rain to stop.

Ever since the closing of school, the rain have been pouring down heavily, never seem to be stopping at any time.

Elena had no choice but to stay under a roof of a shop and wait till the rain stop.

people who have car has already drove off to there home.

It has been an hour now and the rain seems not to be stopping but instead it became worst everytime.

Elena couldn't wait to go home and decided to risk getting wet entering the raining .

Just when she stepped into the rain, she noticed something shield her from the rain.

She looked up and noticed an umbrella covering her.

She then stare at the person that is holding the umbrella.

It was Axel.

"Were you planning on getting sick" Axel said.

He was holding a big umbrella that covered the both of them.

the both stare at each other for some time.

"What are doing here ?" Elena asked.

People like Axel will just enter their car and drove off.

"This same way you want to go home" Axel replied.

"What happened to your car?" Elena asked.

"It got spoiled, so I had no choice than trek"

Elena looked at Axel with a look of untrust.

People like Axel, a playboy, can do anything possible to chase girls.

Axel removed his jacket and throw it at Elena who is about to freeze.

"Here! wear it "

"No..."

"I insist" Axel interrupted Elena who was about to refuse.

Elena had no choice than to wear it, after all she is feeling cold, especially being under this rain.

"Thanks"

Axel nodded.

Suddenly Axel wrapped his hand around Elena waist and pulled her closer to himself.

Elena was caught by surprise as her two hands slammed on his chest.

The stare straight at each other eyes, there lips were few inches from meeting each other.
