Daniel and Megan started their work from next day, Mrs Reid didn't disturb them much, as Mr Felix had spoken with Mr Reid in his workplace asking to take care of his daughter, and Mr Reid had instructed Mrs Reid to not create any more problems... Mrs Reid... remains in a low profile for time being, so she can strike back when her chance comes.... Daniel was getting busier as days passed, he had a lot of meetings and cocktail parties to attend, and came home late, though Megan was upset with his new change of schedule, she understood that it was his job and Daniel can't help much, as days passed, it was four months there are married... Megan wanted to spend some time with Daniel, decided to meet him for lunch in his office.

Daniel had a new Assistant, as Ric was promoted and moved to the IT department as a Project Manager, and Erick Clarke was Daniel's Personal Assistant, who was a professional hacker and very good management pass out student from a reputed university of Z city, he was newly appointed employee, who Daniel hand-picked to be his Assistant... Eric was very fast at work and a very friendly person, Megan visited Daniel in his office after her class, as she missed a lot... as she entered S&S Corps... she asked the front desk,

"Hello Good afternoon, May I know where I can meet Mr Reid, I am here to see him"

"Sorry... do you have an appointment with Mr Reid, if no we can't allow you in"

"You can just inform him that Megan Felix is here"

The receptionist smiled sarcastically at Megan and said

"They are so many college going girls, like you, who come to us saying that they know Mr Reid, but We can't let all in right... if you have an appointment I can allow you or no"

Megan stood there surprised, thinking who are these college girls, whom the receptionist is talking about... and tried calling Daniel many times, but was disappointed, that no one picked the call,

Megan looked at the receptionist helplessly, planned to go home as Daniel was not picking her call... at the same time Daniel was in a board meeting where all were discussing about a project... which was many millions worth, and no one dared to open their mobile as Mr Sol was present... but the continuous vibration of his mobile annoyed Daniel, he slowly looked the caller and sat there motionless, Megan had stopped calling him during his work time not to disturb him, but today she kept calling... he didn't know what to do, His thoughts were wandering, weather she had got into some trouble or his mother made some new trick, as he raised his head to see Mr Sol looking straight at him... Daniel smiled and waved at Eric and asked him to answer the call...

Eric picked the call as he was well aware of who was calling, the caller id showed "My little minion", he smiled thinking of Megan, as he had met Megan a few times when She was dropped by Daniel in her college...when Megan car was out for service.

"Hello Madam, it's Eric here, Mr Reid is in a very important meeting with all the board members and Mr Sol, so how can I help you..."

"Oh, is it, Mr Clark, then fine just tell him I was in his company, to have just a mere lunch with him... nothing important as a board meeting"

Tears flicked in Megan's eyes, it's been days that Daniel had a proper meal with her, it's been 4months there are married, Daniel became super busy with his work and though the surface looked that Mrs Reid was quiet, in reality, She was always humiliating Megan when were she got a chance, but Megan kept all this to herself not wanting Daniel to worry, but Daniel had become so busy, even if Megan wanted to tell him, he had no time to listen... it was only lovemaking section between them, which was more passionate, when he arrived late in the night, Megan didn't want talk about their matrimonial life with anyone, so she was harassing herself in this aloneness, though she spends time with Ray and Riley, She missed the days she was with Daniel, Megan hung the call, picked her bag, as she was prepared to go out, The receptionist called Megan with respect while holding the phone on her ears...

"Mam...Mam... Please stop"

she put the receiver down and ran towards Megan who was at the Glassdoor of the main office reception...

"Mam... Please stop, Mr Reid's PA,

Mr Eric had asked you to wait in the waiting room, as he will inform Mr Reid your here...Megan smiled bitterly, and shook her head and said,

" No thank you, please inform Mr Clark, that I left"

"Mam, I am sorry... I didn't know that you were Mr Reid's wife, I have joined a few days back"

Megan shook her head and said...

"it's ok... never mind, please don't forget to inform Mr Clark, I left"

as finish saying Megan walked out of the huge office building, she was so sad, didn't know where to go... she was sure she didn't want to go back to Reid's house... Megan drove her car aimlessly and reached a place where she felt home, opened her car, and walked out to the blind spot on her school road, sat there on the floor, hugged herself, and cried to her heart content... it was days Daniel as spoken to her, or made time even to call her and check on her, Megan lost the track on time, sat there crying...

Daniel walked out of his meeting after 2hours of discussion, and finally, it was decided, that this project will be taken by Daniel, So he needs to analyse and prepare a report with his team in C city, so he needed to travel, so he was thinking of his minion, what he is going to say her, or take her with him..., this time his business trip will at least take a month or even more...This was a Government project to build houses for homeless people , Daniel walked out and looked at Eric, Eric handed his phone respectfully, and said...

"Sir, Madam had been here in the office to ask you for lunch, but the reception people didn't know madam, and denied her seeing you, that why she was calling you... but"

Eric stopped... and looked at Daniel, thinking ether to say or not... but Daniel understood, something was not ok, he asked...

"But... what Eric, what happened, was she upset..."

"I don't Sir when I asked madam to stay, she said, that she was here for a mere lunch, not as important as a board meeting, I think Madam was crying"

Daniel kneaded his forehead but was not able to understand his minion, She knows that he is busy with work... why was she upset, he was doing all this only to keep her happy... he needed to earn more money so he can buy her a house... so they can live happily in it, without any problems and disturbance...

But Daniel was not understanding, Megan needed him more than a house, money or anything on earth...Daniel's denial was torturing Megan... She was not able to even breathe, Her loneliness was killing her..... without anyone to even talk, but Daniel thought, that Megan was reacted logically stupid to his busy schedule.... as he was lost in his thoughts, someone tapped his shoulder, Daniel turned to see....
