No Second Chance

"That can't be right. How is she related to them?" Jael asked while looking at Jim with a deep frown.

"I don't know, and she didn't say. She just said that she had been stealing from the family business because she was getting back what initially belonged to her family," Jim explained with a shrug of his shoulders. He then sipped his tea once again.

"Your comfort is killing me. Why the hell aren't you bothered?" Jael whispered in disbelief and displeasure.

"I'm bothered. I know she will come back; she will experience my wrath then. Don't worry about it, dear, we will take care of her," Jim assured Jael though she didn't seem satisfied with Jim's assurance.

"What did my son get himself into?" Jael asked, referring to Eric.

"Please don't do that now. He must have known this. Besides, Serena said that Eric and Cheryl were also planning to steal from us," Jim said as he glared at her angrily.
