"I do not know if anything I do later is going to make up or change the past."
Yasmin smiled. "Nothing changes the past. However, there is one thing I know, make an effort and yes someday your sincerity will be felt."
"I will do my best. For you, I will do my best to be a better man."
"I know you are and you will."
"But I wouldn't stand by and watch anyone insult you, Yasmin. Never."
Her smile reached her eyes. "Thank you." They shared another kiss briefly and relaxed staring at the field.
When it started getting chilly, Shawn rubbed Yasmin's arm and led her back to the car.
"Oh, I forgot to ask you." She lifted her brow. "If you would love to join me at home tonight."
"Oh." A blush crept up her cheeks as she nodded. "Well, I couldn't let you go alone in this angry phase,," Yasmin excused.
