Back on earth, he worked as a debugger for this big company, Arc Technologies, that managed to develop the most advanced VRMMORPG at the time and the first release was such a big hit that they wanted to release a sequel.

And to take advantage of the hype, they planned to release four more games at the same time.

This was a marketing strategy that could be considered genius, but how the fuck were the workers going to handle such a workload.

He must have died from overwork, if this was a transmigration. But that was not important anyway.

It was not that he had any family to worry about back on earth.

That aside, something confused him.

The Royal Academy was from Avalon Online, a hero saves the world from the demon king kind of game with dungeons here and there, but what was Emilia doing here, was she not from High School Harem, a date sim eroge?

High School Harem. This was a dating sim that bordered the R18 but was not too steamy. Arc Technologies wanted to have the largest audience and who better to target than teenage high school kids?

The best thing was that it had multiple playable characters of different genders all with complete backstories.

It was also at a high school but with a modern setting.

The FPS was called Duty Call. It was military-oriented but it was very free with an extensive map and a wide range of equipment. Coding that gaming system was a very painful process.

Especially configuring it to the Sam character.

He was the final boss of this series.

What made him a very difficult character to configure was how ordinary his abilities were. He had a very handsome face, more than the permitted limit in an FPS, but he had no other ability.

What made him the final boss was his wealth.

He was so rich that he had funded a hundred armies to protect him.

He was also the one funding the underground forces and rebels.

Drugs, arms, and every illegal thing, his money was there. If he died, the whole game would collapse.

The fourth game was an attempted adaptation of a popular novel called Myriad Occupation. It was a game to explore tons of professions and there were of course tons of 'fun services' for the cultured few at the side.

The players could change professions after meeting certain requirements.

But he did not have much hope for this game. It was too realistic.

Few wanted such a game. They came to escape reality and here they were, having to work all over again.

The fifth game was an 'Action Adventure Esports' for professional players. But to attract the largest audience, they added tons of free-world adventure and fantasy elements making this game very robust.

Just thinking about these five games gave Sam a headache.

If these games merged, he was likely to end up being very miserable.

He was only an ordinary character with tons of money from an inheritance and crime.

While he did not break any laws himself, he did fund a ton of dark stuff.

If the characters of the other games were as broken and overpowered as he remembered them to be, then he was screwed.

As he was starting to form a cold sweat, time seemed to freeze and a golden panel appeared before him.

A rash of excitement overtook him and he hurriedly went forward to study the interface. If he was not wrong this should be his cheat.
