Playmates

It's Sunday afternoon and her mama suggested that they should go around the neighbourhood for a walk. Channie agreed because she loves to go out with her mama.

Her two brothers were playing together and she has no one to play with right now.

Her mama hold her up in her arms as they went out but Channie slips down to walk by herself when they reach the streets. When they reach the big park her mama sat down on the bench to talk with the other many aunty and sent her to play with her friends in the playground.

Sungmi and Minmin was there already so she went to play with them. They were playing house and cooking with little kitchen things. They were smiling and having fun and Channie wanted to play with them.

"We are already playing as sisters, you can't play with us Channie." Minmin says, standing over and blocking her from seeing more of the kitchen things. They were pretty and she didn't have that.

"Okay, I'll just watch you play." Channie smiles and sat near the sandbox and watch as the two girls went back to play house. They were the only friends she knows playing in the park so she sat and look around, watching the boys running and playing tag, cycling with their friends.

There was a boy throwing a little stick for the his dog to run and get it. The dog was pretty but the boys was prettier! she wanted to pet the dog too, it's hair looks soft.

She watch them play and after some minutes, the boy turn to her. She gasp when the boy look straight at her and smiled.

"You can come!" the boy called loudly and waves for her to come. Giddily, Channie jog towards the boy and stood next to him. They were the same height and the boy had darker skin! like chocolate!! she instantly likes him.

"I'm Junjun, what's your name?" the boy ask, crouching down to pet the little dog and she follows him down.

"I'm Channie!" she says, excited to see a small cute dog. it awes her.

"She is Dadam, I named her!" Junjun smugly says, smiling big and happy.

"Dadam is cute!" Channie squeals and pets the dogs head. She was right, the dog is so soft.

Together, they played with Dadam until both of their mothers came looking for them. They promised to play again and they both were delighted to know that their home were only two houses apart.

They started meeting up during saturday for their playdate while their mothers were also come along with them to each others houses. Dadam was there too, they always play with the cute little dog.

When they started going to kindergarten they were sad that they couldn't go together since they were put in different school.

But they grew up, going to school and growing up big because their mother let them to walk to each other houses without them and play after school everyday.
