From Her Father

Gu Nianzhi lifted herself from Huo Shaoheng's arms and looked over Huo Shaoheng's shoulder. She made a face at Yin Shixiong and looked very pleased with herself.

Huo Shaoheng looked down and the smile in his eyes disappeared.

He quickly carried Gu Nianzhi up the stairs and went to the second floor.

The two of them went to the second floor. Gu Nianzhi and Huo Shaoheng's rooms were on the opposite side of the corridor.

Huo Shaoheng thought about it for a moment, then opened his own room and carried Gu Nianzhi inside.

Gu Nianzhi pursed her lips and smiled even more happily.

After entering, Huo Shaoheng placed Gu Nianzhi on the sofa and lowered his head to kiss her for a while before saying hoarsely, "Wait for me. I'm going to take a shower first."
