Captain

Shoya's work ethic has always been visible for all to see. He's a guy often in the training room or the video room. Practice makes perfect, and this principle has followed him since he arrived in the NFL.

Mustafa had just arrived at the training ground with him, and wide receiver Timoty DeVita, head of special teams, greeted, "Didn't you start practicing with Shoya? Why are you here earlier than usual? »

Mustafa raised his hand and pointed to the weight room: "I just train with him, but my training is not as intense; I don't think I can match it."

From this week until the end of the regular season, Shoya will officially be the captain of the offensive team. »

Standing on the spot, Shoya wasn't expecting it, and all eyes were on him, but Johnson didn't care and continued.

But since last season, they've been on two seasons with a negative record, and this season, it looks like there's an implosion. Daniel Jones isn't the problem, but the defense has totally let go and is being opened up from all sides.

The last pass defense, needless to say. But they are the only team to have beaten Buffalo and Philadelphia this season, the top two in each conference.

Mustafa kept his word, with eight receptions, 105 yards, and a TD. The match was difficult to decide, and the two teams surrendered blow after blow. The Giants led for a long time with 25/31, 200 passing yards, and 71 rushing yards for Daniel Jones.

But Shoya found receiver slot Tim Cadet, and the two teams went into overtime. After a missed goal in the third quarter, Louie O'Galvin gave the Commanders the win with a 56-yard field goal.

He'd missed one from 52 yards earlier, but sometimes the kicker has to be even tougher mentally than a quarterback. And so, the Commanders earned their fifth win of the season and moved up to third in the division.

There is a difference between finishing third and last, especially the schedule for next season. In the NFL, there is no such thing as tanking. In any case, it doesn't exist for the players, but for the managers, it's something else.
