Let's play a bit, shall we?
Grinning viciously, I got my feet on the ground and walked three steps closer to where she was standing with a jaw-slacking good-looking male with wavy back hair, buzzed dark beard, and baby blue eyes, whom I believe must be my biological father, and a male that is definitely the King of the Dragon Court given the crown.
"Shay," Russell gasped.
I glared at him, ice cold, "Shayanne Clementine Miralanthor? Yes, the similarity isn't for nothing, she's my mother after all," his eyes widened and he turned pale. "You must be Russell Frederick Bloom, the insane son of the Dragon Queen, huh? I've heard about you, though nothing good. I study with your kids, you do a shitty job of a father, by the way."
Everyone gasped, even his father behind him, who closed his mouth with his hand to hide the shock. Philippa managed to turned even paler, and she let out a squeak when I turned to her, licking my fangs with my forked tongue, in a very serpentine and vicious manner.
"Philippa Pepper Wreathers," I purred and she gulped loudly.
"What do you want?" She hissed through clenched teeth.
That made me grin wider, "Two thousand and fifty years did you no good, you definitely look as ugly as you did back then," oh, now she's red with anger. "Your daughter looks like you, but somehow she managed to be light years more beautiful than you could ever be. Must be Russell's blood in her veins doing its job, uh? You do remember me, right? I know, I was seven, and I had black hair, and my eyes were still baby blue and no serpentine slits around, but everyone says I look like my mom."
"I haven't forgotten our disgraceful encounter two thousand and fifty years ago. You left quite the mess in our lair, do you remember that? Oh, my, the walls are still tainted red until now," let's leave it sub-intended. "Seems like you got what you wanted," I smiled innocently, looking from her to Russell and back to her. "I've been dying to meet you again, to repay what you own me. You know how a blood debt is paid, right?" I arched my eyebrows. "Anyways, horrible to see you again," then I turned to the King who was repressing a grin. "Your Supreme Majesty," I winked and did not bow.
A Queen does not bow after all.
Turning to the Vampire Queen, I gave her a vicious grin, "Looking pretty, Your Majesty. You're lucky to be so hot physically, because you definitely need that to compensate how rotten you are inside," winking as if I was the most innocent person on the world, I turned to Mia. "I did get here before 10 am, right, godmother?"
She laughed vigorously, "Yes, sweetheart, you did. Studied much?"
A nod, "Your guidance helped me. So, how did I do?"
"Quite the entrance. You look graceful on your true form!"
That made me smile genuinely, "Deadly graceful, right?"
Again, she giggled, "Deadly indeed. Were you reminiscing?"
I side-glared Philippa, than her again, "Oh, yes. Quite the bloody and torturous past we have. Full of deaths, scars, coffins, forced murders, and stuff like that. So, joyful. When I think about it, those last two thousand and forty years were quite the gruesome and claustrophobic sight. Thank Crone, father helped me out and honed me these last years."
"Who? Who is your father?" Russell jumped from his seat.
I grinned viciously, "Quite too late for that, don't you think?" I mocked, and when his eyes widened, I arched my eyebrows. "Cosmos, of course," I pointed to where he was standing and he turned his smug face to stare at Russell. "He's the only father I have, recognize, and accept."
"You fucking bastard!" Russell growled glaring at Cosmos.
But I was in front of father before Russell could do anything about it. "If you want to find the real bloody fucking bastard in this situation, Russell Frederick Bloom, you should take a look in the mirror. Get over your shit, and don't lay a finger on my father. Or I'll do to you what my mom didn't had the guts to," I hissed.
"I am," he's not doing this.
"You are nothing to me. You should take care of your children, you know? Agost and Nicolette? Instead of throwing a tantrum because of a girl who isn't your daughter. But what to expect from a shitty dragon like you?" Sorry, mom. But I can't stand this guy. "And you better not talk with my father like this, or you will see firsthand how deadly the poison of a winged-serpent really is, Prince Russell Frederick Bloom."
"But.. but Shay!"
"My mother is dead. She's long dead. She died alone and in front of me. You have no right to call her like that. You're nothing!" I hissed.
Father held my shoulders, "It's okay, darling."
"Shay is… dead?" He's asking for a slap.
I clenched my jaw, "You must have felt it, did you not? Given how you and my mom were… you know," I flashed my fangs. "So, yes, she died and I really hope you blame yourself for it," I hissed in a whispered only for us and the ones with heightened hearing around to hear. "Because if she died the way she did, it was because you were a fucking coward and left her alone. So, deal with the burden of causing her death." Putting on a blank face, I used my telekinesis to push him away and sit him down. "A Prince should not act impulsively like this, Your Highness. It's disgraceful. Your mother would be ashamed."
"Hel, darling," father whispered behind me.
"It's fine. You're my father," I hugged him.
He caressed my hair, "You don't look okay."
I blinked, "Oh? But I did my best on this look?"
"I'm not talking about that," he gave me a look.
"So, I'm looking good right?" I winked, avoiding it altogether.
"You look amazing!" Mia came to me and turned me to her. "Now, shall you come with me to the front?" She took me with her and turned me to face everyone else.
"I feel like an exotic animal in exhibition," I said under my breath.
"Hel has a habit of making grand entrances and losing her temper very quickly," she giggled, holding me still. "But she's a sweet child. Very clever and smart." Oh no.
I couldn't help it, "Sweet?" I covered my mouth, my body shaking with laughter, and I could tell everyone in the front, who knows me, was trying to hold their laughter too.
"She's a senior in the last year, one of the representatives of the advanced classes," she raised my wrist with the emerald bracelet, "and who will be the new team leader instead of Felix-Gabriel Moore, her cousin, who has been the main second team leader all those years. He's in her team, but per the direct request of the Supreme Dragon Queen," I clenched my jaw in disgust, "she will be the leader of the team that will go against to our sole winner for ten years, Crowned Prince Oliver-Sean Montgomery Strauss-Khan of the Vampire Court, which you all must now by now."
Biting my bottom lip, I did my best to avoid looking at him, even though I felt his stare on me. Instead, I looked for Bell and Hanna, only to find them in the left corner of the front roll. Bell in black, Hanna in green. I waved at them, and they waved back, smiling.
{"Are you going to keep this up?"}
I don't know what you are talking about.
{"Oh, no?"} Then the bastard faded to me and stood right on my side, towering me, a very damn possessive hand on my waist. {"Still don't know what I'm talking about?"} "I am also her boyfriend!" He exclaimed to everyone.
What the hell are you doing? I glared up at him.
{"I don't know what you are talking about!"} He glared back.
Fucker. And I'm childish.
{"Your childishness is spreading on me. It's your fault!"}
Hah, of course. Totally my fault.
"And mates!" His mother beamed loudly. Bloody fucking loudly.
Clenching my jaw, I ignored them both and turned to Mia.
{"You told her, Wilhelmina?"} He asked restless.
I scoffed because he can't be fucking serious. Yes, Oliver-Sean. I told your psychopathic mother that I am your bloody mate, just so she could use that to fucking break you again. Yes. I totally did that. Absolutely.
Pushing him aside, I stepped on Mia's other side, annoyed.
{"What do you mean? Did she threatened you?"}
Threaten? Never. She asked to have tea with me and eat blood cookies. Oh, yes, also to know how I feel about having my mom being murdered in front of my eyes, by my grandmother. And how was my time being tortured. You know, I enjoyed quite a lot.
{"She. Did. What?"} He hissed.
Nothing. She didn't do any-bloody-fucking-thing.
"Yes! They are mates!" Mia exclaimed, annoyed with Violet's way of bursting it all to everyone. "Doesn't that makes this the most exciting Eclipseball Tournament in centuries? The strongest and scariest kids in BABS, mates, going against each other for the throat, because they are the most competitive and stubborn students we have in here."
Hah. Fuck. I'm so fucking bloody damn doomed.
{"Break the bond then, if you think being with me is your doom!"}
I'm talking about how she's throwing us to the wolves, arsehole.
{"So, you're not denying that you will break the bond!"}
