What the hell does that even mean? Am I spiritually crowned?
Swallowing hard, I caressed her hair softly, "Flora, is this crown you are seeing an adorned obsidian black pointed crown containing an emerald green at the biggest and centered point, and other six gems at the sides, three in each; ruby red, peridot green, citrine yellow, amethyst purple, sapphire blue, and diamond white-ish?" I added the colors in case she wouldn't know the names, describing the Crown of Chaos I saw on grandpa's head.
A shiver ran down my spine when she nodded. {"Yes. That's the crown I'm talking about. It's pretty. Suits you're beautiful silver hair. So, are you a Queen, Miss Hel?"}
"I am, yes," I smiled at her. "And you are the beautiful one, Flora."
She beamed with the compliment, {"Thank you, Queen Hel. Only my dad called me that. I'm glad someone still thinks that of me."}
Aye child. "Of course, I do. You are the prettiest child ever."
Again, the little spiritual girl beamed, {"Coming from you, I will believe it. I hope you will find your way and see what you cannot see yet, Queen Hel. I also hope I'll see you again one day,"} winking, she vanished.
Wait, what? Did she just call me blind? "Weird."
When I turned around, they were all staring at me.
"What?" I arched my eyebrows.
"Did the girl just suggested the Crown of Chaos is above your head, Hel?" Savannah asked confused.
A nod, "A spiritual form of it, yes," sighing, I stared at where Flora was just a second ago. "She said it's floating above my head and that she saw it from the second her eyes laid on me. Don't ask me, I have no idea. But I guess it must be because I am the new wielder of the Crown. The only one who can wear it. Maybe the power of it is so strong that leaves a strong mark on the spiritual plane."
["Does that means all the spirits that you saw can see it?"]
"Probably? How would I know? It's the first time I heard of it. Naël didn't mention it, mom didn't either, and none of the witches yesterday did. Flora must have mentioned it because she's innocent and was curious if I was a Princess."
"Thankfully she did then," Danielle exclaimed.
Noah nodded, "Or we wouldn't know."
"Why was she in this tent though?" Kalisha frowned staring at it.
Then I told them what she told me about it. "That's why she comes here every year, to check if she is close to reincarnating. I felt attracted to this place in the same way I felt to the witch's tent yesterday, and she told me tons of important stuff. Maybe this attraction I feel is like a guide that shows me where to look for things," rolling my shoulders, I clenched my jaw. "But I can feel how strong the female satyr called Nancy Beaulieu is. She glows with power."
"So," Dorothy licked her lips, "we're going in, right?"
Grinning, I nodded, "Of course. If you are scared, stay behind me, I'll walk in first," then I turned to the entry of the tent and walked inside, and the inside was huge. In fact, huge is an understatement. "Oh, wow."
"Magic," Savannah whispered with a ghost of a smile on her lips.
In a second, a beautiful satyr around Oliver's height─ believe me, I'm stunned too, ─with long curly golden hair and fur, and big doe baby pink eyes and a muscle body, popped up in front of us. Magic overflowing from her like a waterfall, and her eyes search around the kids until they stopped on me and didn't wave away again. "Black winged-serpent!"
"I prefer Hel!" I said amicably.
"More like bringing hell to others," she winked. "I watched your Eclipseball match yesterday, you did insanely well. The way you killed all of them was amazing," she beamed with excitement as she stared down at me, given her towering height. "I'm looking forward for the two matches you will play today, I'm only watching yours. Your team also did amazing. I loved how the two pervert vampires were induced to copulate with each other, and you mocked their sizes, saying the vampire Crowned Prince is unphantomably bigger than them."
Copulate? Aye, when she puts it like that it sounds embarrassing. And are all satyrs this tall? "Oh, and he is. My mate is the biggest," winking at her, I tried to hide how she was overwhelming me. "I'm glad you enjoyed the match yesterday, and I hope you will enjoy today again. Tomorrow as well."
"I'm certain that will happen. I love a bloody match," she winked back. Is she flirting? "You are even more gorgeous from up close, Hel," Aye, she's flirting. "I can almost taste the power within you," then she came closer and in a second thirteen seats appeared around us. "Come in, feel comfortable. What do you come here for, dear bittersweet Hel?"
Bittersweet? Never been called that. "Seat!" I told the others and in a second, they all sat down, then I did the same, sitting right in front of her. "Flora, the little spiritual girl, told me you can measure anyone's magic, and call out all their potential and what they will one day become. It snatched my interest right away."
The sides of her lips curled up in excitement, "I see that you've met the little elf. She's a wonder, ain't she? Sad past, but pure and good heart still. She'll be reincarnating in less than two years, though not as an elf. You felt how strong her spirit is, right? She's a wandering spirit that has been waiting to be born in the right place for millennials."
I'm glad for the kid. I hope she has a nice life next time. "She told me there's a crown floating above my head, Miss Nancy. Is it true?"
A nod, "Yes. You are the promised one. The wielder of the Crown of Chaos, and that leaves a mark on your very soul. The world has been waiting for your birth for millennials, child. Now you are finally here," my eyes widened and when she saw my shock, she grinned. "I am from the old world, though I was a little child when the Grand War of Pangea happened, I did not meet my mate in time. I met an oracle in Alaska, specialized in mating bonds and she told me I could not die because my mate is from a race who's portals to their realm are blocked. That's one of the reasons why I'm still alive and looking young like this."
My mouth went dry, "Your mate is… a phoenix?"
"A what?" Yumi and Shiryu gasped behind me.
"Yes," her voice was full of pain. "But the pathway to the Sky-City of Andromeda, where he is, can only be opened again," she pointed to the top of my head, "with the Crown of Chaos, Hel. I myself have been waiting for your arrival my entire life, Your Majesty," this time, her eyes beamed with something similar to admiration. "When you get the Crown from it's hiding, I'll finally be able to meet my mate. The oracle told me he's the guardian of the Royal library of the Crowned Princess, and that he's also been waiting to meet me… his mate," hope glowed from her.
So, he works for Sunna. "Then it seems like we'll be meeting each other again, after today, Nancy."
"I hope so, Your Majesty."
"No need for that," but then I remembered Belladonna's words of how I need to get used to it. "Just Queen Hel is fine. And solely Hel when there's someone else around us."
A nod, "Then Queen Hel it is," she jumped from her seat, overjoyed with childish excitement. "Now, do you want me to take a look at what lies within you, Queen Hel?" Nancy asked beaming. "After I look into you, I can also look into your friends."
"That will be amazing, Nancy. How much is per person?"
"I usually ask for five hundred euros per living person, but I'll do it all for free for you, Queen Hel. You don't need to worry about expenses with me!" She sounded almost offended.
"She's a trillionaire, you should rethink that, girl," Felix advised.
I rolled my eyes, "I do not wish for special treatment, Nancy. You can ask for the money no matter if I'm a Queen or not. As we are in 14, if we count Jack, it'll sum up seven thousand euros. You can't refuse that," then I summoned the black card from my necklace again. "Can I use this to pay?"
Her jaw dropped, "A-are you sure, Queen Hel?"
"Yes. So, can I pay with this? Or is it a digital bank?"
Blinking in shock, she quickly summoned a card small machine and turned to me, "Of course, you can pay with a black card."
Passing it, I put the password: 542057777.
5 for the day of my birth. 4 for the month of my birth. 2057 for my age. 777 because it's my lucky number. Impossible to forget.
"Good. Paid in advance. Best costume ever," Nancy beamed and in a second a marble table with a huge crystal sphere appeared in front of me, between us both. "I'll only need one small drop of your blood to fall over the crystal, my Queen, that will do."
Nodding, I bared my fangs and pierced the tip of my left ring finger, then I held my hand up over the sphere and let my blood drop over it, and as three drops quickly rolled down, I sucked it and let it heal. "Will that be enough?"
"More than enough, my Queen," she whispered and her eyes turned silver as she poured her magic over the sphere.
"I think this is similar to what witches do," Savannah whispered.
"Unphantomable power. Everything lies within you, at the same time as nothing does. Chaos, void, soul. Undergrown magical power that are yet to bloom to it's full potential. Natural force to be reckoned with. If nurtured, thy power will grow to surpass that of thy strongest ancestors. Like a black hole that consumes all the power of the universe to itself, you are dangerous."
"Thy biggest weaknesses lies within thy mind and heart. Monsters made bigger than they are because of the fear that consumes you. Balance will be found as the crown lays in it's rightful place and the one whom you share a heart and no body becomes complete with thy power. Without balance, destruction, mayhem, and deaths will follow. Alone you will not make it, thy power is too great too be wielder solely by you."
