"You fool of a father you have doomed us both!"

"You betrayed me first Drago! You threw me into the netherworld when you were supposed to free ALL the demons!"

"And let you take what is rightfully mine!"

Currently I can see Drago and Shendu being tortured by the other demons.

"Really the two of you are father and son. Both pathetic excuses for demons."

"Pathetic! I had absorbed all of your chi and was about to rule the world! If my father hadn't betrayed me and fought with the Chans I would have ruled ALL!"

"And yet still you were defeated through a simple reversal spell. Pathetic indeed."

"Not like you did any better. All of you falling to simple banishment spells. At least I nearly succeded."

*Humph!* They blast Drago some more. *ARGGG*

"Fool! Did you think the spells the immortals who sealed us used were so simple. Those spells left permanent ties to us letting any fool with a potion and symbol seal us back!"

"Did you really think our chi just happened to leak out? We sent it out! We just needed to wait for someone to absorb it and be corrupted. Eventually they would realize the source and open a portal for more. Then once free we could take it back, but you two just had to ruin all our plans!" Anger rising the demons continue torturing Shendu and Drago.

"Now, now it's not the worst that could happen. I mean it's not like you can't move or being tortured for eternity, right?"

"Whose there!" The seven demons turn frantically trying to find the source of the voice, but find nothing. Shendu and Drago meanwhile try to heal up from the torture.

"Oh don't worry. You won't find me. Well introductions are in order. I am called ROB and I have an offer for you."

"What could you possibly offer if you are stuck in here with us."

"No wait, if he can get in here without us knowing he might have a way out."

"Then we can just take it from him."

"Would you all just shut up." Suddenly chains appear from nowhere and bind all of them and seal their mouths shut.

"There, now being demons you should understand that I am the one in charge here. I am here to offer you a chance at freedom. Just a chance mind you, but it's not like you have much choice now. So what do you say." The chains disappear leaving the demons shocked and wary.

"No one has ever gotten the upper hand on me so easily, much less when it's all of us together."

"Indeed those chains had us at his mercy. Such power makes lies unnecessary."

"He could be trying to get us into a contract. You know how those work."

"Yes, but it could be our best chance at freedom."

The demons continue discussing for a while before coming to a decision.

"What is this chance you speak of?"

"Glad you were quick about it. Yes you see a small mortal has wished for a Pan'ku box that lets him absorb you're powers. Now I could just make copies of all of you but that would be too much work without pay so I came to you."

"But if he has the Pan'ku box he has the potential to do that anyway?"

"Ah, yes and that's the thing. He is going to a separate dimension so no that won't work."

"And what do you get as pay?"

"Aha and that's why I like working with demons! I get entertainment!"

"So you want to use us as entertainment?" All of the demons seem to glower.

"Oh yes, and it's not like you can do anything about it. I could just rip your power right out of you, but I think you'll come around to it eventually."

"If that's so why don't you just do what you want anyway?"

"Well worlds are finicky about stuff like this so I'll need each of you to sign a contract with me."

A contract begins floating down in front of my eyes but before I can read it the memory ends. I come out still in my mind fortress with a splitting headache.

"Guess that was why the memory sucked, too much pain. Still I at least got some answers. So I got ROB'ed for entertainment. That explains how I got here with Shendu stuck in me and a Pan'ku box. But why on earth did the memory cut out like that. Was it only half way copied? Could have been why Shendu bugged out like that?"

I spend some time sorting through the memory trying to find any hints with little to show for. My biggest gains are knowing who sent me here and why. Of course being someone's entertainment doesn't sit well with me so now I've got to figure out how to fix that. Perhaps even more important is that even if I steal the demon's chi they could have a way to take it right back. Still that's a worry for the future.
