The imprint seemed to have a strange effect on all the girls including Leah. Since everyone was emotionally linked in a way. It kind of just boosted everyone's feeling for each other. It was a good thing.
The other effect was the pack mentality. When she joined the bond our telepathic bond between each other grew stronger. A kind of pack bond. Now being the alpha of the pack I had made things a bit different for everyone. The first change was the animagus forms. Everyone's form shifted to match mine. A pack of zinogres. Leah no longer belonged to Sams pack and shifted to my pack member. It's weird having a pack.
I could give out these alpha commands they would be forced to obey. Of course I wouldn't as I'm not going to take my girls free will away.
That was about the limit of the changes. Stronger emotions for each other. Animagus form changing and pack mentality.
Instantly everyone became much closer.
But that's for later on.
"So the newborns are supposed to be coming to this area?" I asked Edward who nodded looking curious at Alice.
"That marriage bond of yours is a strange thing does it work for other beings besides wizards?" He asks me eying Bella.
"No idea it's something to test though besides she is technically a witch. An untrained one but a witch none the less." I reply pulling out my wand and making my way around the clearing setting up spell after spell.
"What are you doing?" Sam asks me.
"Human repelling charms to make is so random people avoid this area also minor compulsion charms for magical creatures. They will want to enter the area out of curiosity and not know why." I tell them.
"I was wondering why this place seemed to feel much nicer than before." He says looking around the area warily.
"Yep that's magic for ya. I'll also be setting up some magical blood in the area." I pull out a barrel of elder dragon blood and the vampires eyes all click to it. This is much more potent then some untrained wizards blood like Bella. That's one of the reasons she smells so good to them. Vampires get much more energy from magical blood than from regular human blood. It's like you've been eating salad your whole life but then suddenly your presented with things like tacos or cheese burgers. But it's even worse for the cullens since they all just eat animals which have even less magical energy than normal humans. It's like they have been just drinking water not even having the salad. It fills you up sure but it doesn't satisfy you. I magic up some cups around the edge of the barrel and they are on it. Even the doctor whose trained for hundreds of years can't resist.
They absolutely gorge themselves on the blood in ecstasy.
"That's not human blood is it?" Sam says warily.
"No its dragon blood." I say easing his worries.
"Dragon? No way." He says looking at the barrel of quickly disappearing blood.
"Yep they exist most of them live in Romania at this point in time though there are a few who live in different areas like Norway and Peru even some in Sweden. I don't recall what species are native in america off the top of my head though. I think most of them were hunted to extinction in this area yearssss back. I think there might be some wyverns though and maybe some rock drakes in the mountains. Usually those are the cause for most missing hikers. Kind of like dragons but more bipedal and like to live in rough terrain." Luna in my mind helps me explain a bit.
While the vampires are filling up I spread more blood around the area with the help of some of the more burly wolves.
"I'll soak this area for a few days and let the plants and dirt absorb the smell. This will drive them into a frenzy and they will basically lose their minds making them easy pickings. I however need a couple of them alive so try not to kill them all. I have to complete my mission. If I could get the leader that would be ideal." I tell them.
"Sorry she has to die, she invaded our land." Sam says with some no nonsense stuff. Understandable as I wouldn't want my land invaded either plus if I remember correctly she made them look like fools.
"That's fine I'll take second in command." I state not really wanting to argue or caring much. All I really need is one anyway.
"How do you plan to capture them." He asks me.
I pull out my desert eagle. "Rounds filled with some of the highest powered sleeping potion available. Guaranteed to knock anyone on their ass and not get back up. The effect are a bit weakened on vampires but it still gives me a few hours to work with."
"What happens after that?" Bella asks me curiously listening in.
"After that I put them in my prison cells in my case and escort them to the American magical government where they will be tried for their crimes. Some might be able to cut a deal depending on their stories and be shipped off to vampire colonies to live. Not going to lie the only reason they are in trouble are because they have started to cause a commotion and are getting noticed. If they just stayed hidden and quietly ate people in moderation then the government wouldn't have given a shit." I say sitting down on my trunk.
"They don't care about the murdered people?" Bella asks in shock.
"Nope they only care about the statute of secrecy all magical creatures are to abide by those rules. It's also much simpler to just have some vampires kill off some humans here and there than to have to go out and start a war with them leading to massive casualties." I explain a bit of magical politics.
"How can big covens and such of vampires survive off of so few humans exactly?" Carlisle asked me finally done gorging himself and gaining back control. Looking slightly embarrassed also.
