A New Dawn, A New Dusk

For as long as I could remember, perfection wasn't an option. Every little task or errand I did had to be perfect. Grades? Perfect. Looks? Perfect. You get the ideal, from being just a little boy in a world full of beauty, sometimes the beauty does become the hideous beast. Today though was going to be different.

"Lio, come over here son of mine, you know the mission you have to complete right?" My father spoke to me and his words just went over my head, "Yeah, yeah I get it, go to the human world and find out some threats. Not too hard right?"

I could hear the amount of little to no fucks in his tone, "At least you get it somehow, also Vix will accompany you for support and also for her to not cause chaos to heaven, she already did $100,000 worth of damage. Plus, it would give her some growth in the long run so don't be too harsh on her."

Footsteps were closing in to the kitchen of where my father and I were sitting, then her voice was awakened, "I'm not that bad, just my spells don't like to cooperate with me, hey Lio what's up?" Laughing I replied, "Nothing much hellspawn of a younger sister I have, come on, let's go to the human world now."

My father soon stopped us, "Hey, before you go here's some things you should know, first there is an apartment for the both of you and occasionally I'll visit to see your guy's progress. Second, don't use magic unless nessecary, we don't need catastrophe to happen. Third of all,

you will be going to a highschool since the threat came from there, have fun."

A portal soon opened up, Vix waltzed on in and soon disappeared, almost doing the same thing my father then added, "Oh, while you're there, don't fall in love with someone from the human world, it may be painful to let them go but it's for the better okay?" Nodding I walked in and it lead into a full apartment, guessing the old man already did the decorating.

Vix was circling around like a ballerina and gasped, "Holy shit, this is amazing! And it's well the official first time we're staying here! Of course we came by and checked out Earth but staying in the planet for long periods of time? This is about to be lit!" "Alright, alright settle down, it's like Midnight here in the human world so get to sleep, apparently school's tomorrow since he already enrolled us in a week beforehand."

She nodded and we walked to the hallway which had rooms, from the looks of it, the room with the alchemy is Vix's and the one with sigils was mine, this was going to be a fun experience. Her silver hair hit my face when she did her infamous hair flip and walked into her alchemy room, chuckling I went into mine and meteor crashed into my bed. It was so soft and fluffy it felt like Heaven, which was my home.

A trombone was playing loudly and it woke me up. Rising up from my bed I saw Vix sitting incorrectly in a chair and waving at me, "Good morning sunshine! Get your ass up and ready now! Today's our first day of highschool, technically I was supposed to go to middle school since my physical appearance makes it seem so but I made a compromise with pops and I'll say that I skipped a few grades."

Great, now the highschool is going to suffer by her, job well done dad. "Okay, okay just stop playing it please, I don't want to get a migraine on the first day, just leave and I'll get ready." Thank sanity that she left and I got ready. My outfit consisted of a hoodie that was gray with the lettering 'I'm only on my knees for praying, get your mind out of the gutter amen', ripped black jeans and boots.

Walking into the living room I saw my sister sitting down on the emerald sofa, "Jeez, can't you be any slower, come on." Vix was wearing black boots, black fishnet stockings, a sneakster purple skirt that was 2 inches above the knee, and a gray distressed shirt that had the words 'I'm only a hoe for ramen, all you bastards stay the fuck away from me.' "Change first, I don't want my little sister dressing like one of those women that stand on a corner street and having people pay them for your services!"

She rolled her eyes, "You can't even say the word 'prostitute' god you really are an angelic pure saint. It doesn't violate the dress code of the school we're attending so lighten up a bit, and plus your hoodie is just as bad as my t-shirt so you can't complain you lifeless twink." I grabbed the closest pillow and launched it at her.

She clawed onto another pillow and again, launched it but at me this time, we laughed then looking at the clock it was 7:36 a.m, "Crap, we got to hurry now! School's in like 25 minutes and we need to get our schedules!" Soon both of us bolted and ran, luckily the apartment was close to the school but since there was traffic it would take about 10 minutes so to speak.

After 10 minutes we reached to the school out of breath, and walked into the building, the office was just in front of us to the right and we both walked up to the lady at the desk. "Hey, we're two new students and we need our schedule, my name is Lio Heavesin, and the girl next to me is my little sister, her name is Vix Heavesin as well." The lady gave us a confused look, then sighed and handed us our papers.

"First is your homeroom then the rest as followed." She said in a dead tone, stepping away we looked at our schedules, we had the same homeroom, science, english, and history classes, the others we didn't which was fine. My head was looking at the clock, the time was 7:49 a.m, now we really have to go. The lady at the office pointed to the door right across from her and said, "That's your homeroom teacher's room, you both are lucky that you don't have to navigate the school until an hour later."

Heading to the classroom, we got there early and sat in the back, talking and chatting about this new school, time flew by fast and the bell rang, and students flew in one by one. Our teacher walked in, "Hello, class we have two new students today, their name will be known in the attendance so listen up." She said people's names then I heard mine, "Livioné Heavesin? Are you there today?"

Raising my hand up I replied, "It's Lio actually and yes I'm here." One of the students snickered, "Your name sounds girly, that's probably what you are anyway." I felt some magic and looking down it was Vix using some sort of levitation spell, a pencil soon hit him and he stopped talking, "Well since you shut up, is there a Vixana Heavesin as well?" Vix raised her hand and spoked, "Here miss, but I go by Vix just to let you know."

She was calling other names then a guy bolted in. He was so I don't know how to explain it, cute? The guy had black hair with red highlights and blue tips, his eyes were a dreamy icy blue, the sweat stuck to his white shirt and his muscles were showing, damn I was staring but it was worth it.
