He Who Needs Me

All this year when we spent time together. When on his slight smile my heart lit up. Now when I looked at him. When we both sat on the floor kneeling. His arms wrapped around me, crying on my shoulder. I slowly patted his back. After a while I just decided to let him all out. I can ask later. My Shirt (Which was basically his) was all wet. "Hey, you fine now?" I asked only to notice him asleep. I loved his peaceful face. That innocence. I couldn't let his peaceful moment slide and truth I couldn't pick him up to his bedroom. I slowly laid his head on the floor (which had a rug luckily so his back would hurt less) and ran to his bedroom.

I picked a pillow and his blanket rushing back to the living room. I slowly put the pillow under his head and tucked the blanket. I know after all this, his head might be hurting. I rubbed some balm on his head and combed his hair with my fingers.

'What must be such a big deal that just a month before our 1 year anniversary, this happened?' I thought sniffing. I heard a noise of his phone ringing. I took it and saw it was my mom. I picked it...

'Hello, mom' I whispered slowly.

'Beta, where are you and why is your phone switched off?' She asked out of breath.

'Mumma, actually...'
