I cross my heart

The next morning, Kaia sent Alexa off to school with Bretton and three bodyguards. She made Alex some lunch packing it in a lunch container and slipping it into a bag.

Alex walked out of the room fully dressed. He looked at Kaia and smiled handsomely. That was all it took for Kaia's insides to melt. She smiled and walked over handing the small bag that held his lunch. She gave him a peck on the lips."I'll be at the office after I go see my dad, " she smiled as Alex pulled her closer to him, kissing her a few more times, "okay. Be safe." Kaia nodded, "don't worry. I'll take Ivan, Jim, and Larry with me."

Alex let out a sigh and held her close."I should meet your dad, "he said casually, and Kaia nodded. "I'll set it up for you and Alex to meet him over dinner, "Kaia smiled, leaning back to fix the collar of Alex's shirt. Nodding, Alex kissed her forehead, "I love you." Kaia smirked devilishly, "I know, it's hard not to love me."She kissed him softly, "I love you too, now go to work."

Alex didn't hold her up anymore. He left the villa going to work. Kaia called upon Ivan and the others and made her way to Castello's. She left wearing skinny jeans, a brown sweater, and a light blue scarf.

Of course with it being daytime, Castello was in his office working like a regular business man. He was in charge of one of the largest loan franchises in the country, so he was very popular. There were many people lined up in the waiting area just hoping for a chance to meet with him that day.

Kaia stepped out of the car and stood tall. Ivan stood at her side, "there will be many people inside. Just walk straight inside, The boss will be pleased to see you most." Kaia nodded and walked inside. She kept her head up and walked past the people. A few whispers could be heard, but she ignored them as she walked straight into his office. Kaia smiled, "Mr.Castello."

Castello looked up from some papers and smiled standing."Kaia, just call me dad or father, "He looked at the client he was with and waved his hand."Your work is unreliable; your loan will not be approved, "He said as the secretary came in to show the person out.

Castello sat down and offered Kaia a seat. Sitting down, Kaia looked at him and smiled."It's good to see you again. You said you would help right?" She asked for reassurance as she crossed her legs. Castello nodded, "Of course, No one bullies my daughter and gets away with it. Has he done anything else?"

Kaia shook her head and placed her hands on her lap."Alex and I are talking about having more children… I want this matter out of the way, "She glanced at Castello who's face lit up. "I get more grandbabies!?" his voice naturally shined as he said it. Kaia couldn't help but to smile. She scooted to the edge of her seat, "Let's start by cutting Crestfall industries funding."

Castello looked at her and leaned back in his chair." Okay, I can do that. They have back pay that I've let slide because of your mother, but since she left him there are no ties, "he smiled picking up his pen writing a few things down. Kaia smiled and stood up walking over to hug him."Oh! And make preparations, Alex wants to meet you and I figured it would be a great time to introduce Alexa, "Castello dropped his pen before standing, he gave her a bear hug."I will get things done, and remember I'm a phone call away," he chuckled softly,over excited about the future events.

After leaving Castello's, Kaia went straight to Sabor Sights. Her first objective was to go to Alex's office.

Naomi and Zac walked together down the hall, going through some papers and chatting. Kaia smiled watching the two. After everything with Rose's father, Naomi swore off love. So she was happy that Zac snuck his way in. Kaia didn't want to bother them so she went to walk past them to go to Alex's office.

Naomi noticed straight away, "Hey, Kaia! Alex isn't in his office right now." Kaia blinked, stopping in place. She turned to face Naomi and Zac tilting her head. Naomi smirked at Zac and left his side to walk up next to Kaia wrapping her arm with hers. "Come, I'll show you. Though, you have to stay hidden and don't let Alex see you,"she said, pulling Kaia along. Kaia blinked confused as she walked with Naomi.

They made their way down to the recording floor. Naomi led her down to the end of the hall unlocking a door that led to a private studio that was hidden away. Naomi slipped in first and looked at Ben, the producer at the soundboard.

Naomi held a finger to her lips before pointing at Kaia who stealthy stayed in the corner. The producer nodded and pressed a button, "That sounds great, let's take it from the top and record this time." The producer cut on the switch letting the sound from the recording booth ring out through the room.

First thing she heard was a soft picking melody on the guitar. Then a smooth voice accompanied it along with a few pre recorded instruments.

Kaia walked from the corner standing in front of the glass seeing Alex in the booth strumming the guitar. "내 마음을 건너겠다고 약속한다. 당신의 모든 꿈을 이루기 위해 내가 준 모든 것을주십시오…"("I promise to cross my heart. Give everything I gave you to fulfill all your dreams… ") Not only the song was beautiful, but the lyrics were meaningful.

Kaia teared up a bit."He can sing?" She asked looking back at Naomi. Naomi nodded lightly,"He always came here to relax. He never recorded anything though." Naomi explained.

Kaia looked at Ben," What song is this?" Ben glanced at her."It's an old country song from an American Artist, we changed it up and made it a bit more pop- ish and Korean, but he wanted to keep the guitar in it."Kaia turned her attention back to Alex biting her lip as she listened to him. His voice was smooth and deep and his vibrato was outstanding.

Alex continued and was about to go back to the chorus but looked up. As soon as he saw Kaia he froze. Naomi flinched," Uh oh! We've been spotted!"
