Long Time No See

"There's no way someone who never shows himself in broad daylight is engaged" she mocked, arching her brow with the news the on her hand as she delicately places her foot across on the table. It would be fascinating if the Zay's successor turned out to be unsightly.

Boredom wreaked havoc on the young missus fantasies, leading her to picture herself in the shoes of his fiancée "Definitely not, I can't imagine me marrying him at all!"

Elenor rose on the ground, sneaking outside the waiting area whilst preparing for a chance to march in. "How long do I have to build up the patience, the coffee's getting cold!" Matthew's office has been sealed since her arrival.

Miss Aera mentions that it has been quite some time since the client has been in the office.

'Wait, is the client a she? What if she is his girlfriend?'

She couldn't stop herself from worrying. After all, the day her mother passed away Matthew isolated himself from the rest of the world. In their quarters, wherein daylight cannot enter, his shadow has overlapped the barrier of himself. The mistress's death driven the warm Eaves de Villa to perish along her. Despite being a newborn, Elenor, who was tiny and delicate at the time, felt the changes.

Stories she heard from her nanny and everyone at home when she was younger are inevitable as the little missus grows.

"Is he finally taking interest in someone? What about me? He never took interest to his own daughter"

"That's it, I'm going in," she proclaimed before she reached for the espresso and made her way to Matthew's office, her stilettos clanging against the hard ground as her hair swinging as she marched by each cubicle. Elenor refuses to let Matthew go out with someone without telling her.

Come on, they've never even shared a single meal together, and now he's snacking in his office?

Elenor Ada Eaves, Matthew Eaves's only daughter who has been ignored her entire life, is at risk of being replaced by a new family, which she cannot afford!

A huge piece of board sat before her and her father as she stood frozen in front it. Her pulse is pounding and her hand is trembling; her emotions seem confused, and she can't tell which one she's feeling—nervous, thrills, rage, hope—for the first time in five years, an image that has been fuzzy for a long time will now be remembered.

Reaching her hand only for someone to open the door ahead when she was about to grab the knob. The door was flung open by an old man, around her father's age. Perhaps it's a man with whom he's in a relationship with? There was a moment of silence in the room, and Elenor was speechless.

The air had gone cold. fortunately, he took notice of how awkward it was for the young miss "... You must be Elenor" a curve formed to his face "I thought you were someone else I mean you look exactly like your mother!" he chuckled, he is such a big old man; eventually made her neck in pain, "Who are you?" she wondered.

He towers over her, making her display a scowl on her demeanor as her gaze roams all over him. Thoughts rushes to Elenor, "Is it even legal for him to be this tall and big, in spite his heavenly appearance? Isn't it better for him to possess a scary look? Besides, who exactly is he?"

"Everything fine, Hudson?" a voice surged behind the big old man, she hadn't heard that voice in five years, nevertheless she had no doubt who it could be; it had to be Matthew. Elenor broke out in a cold sweat, she never stopped seeking to get a glimpse of Matthew for five years and had never imagined it would be this easy, if she had been braved enough to see him, she would have long done so, but he left the Eaves de Villa and chose to spend his entire life here in the firm, not once calling home. That, of course, was enough to make Elenor feel unwanted.

She figured that since he refuses to see her, neither does she—their feelings were mutual. However, this time she had a reason to come, the young miss is leaving for college, and for this only time hopes of feeling the bond as a family reached her limit. She too wanted that bond.

She squeezed her figure in order to get through the big old man while gripping a cup of espresso in her palms, "Long time no see father I hope you still remember me"

Their gazes met, eventually she grasped her attention on her father's face, not long she shifted her gaze as she studied the room, she couldn't look at him as much as she expected herself to.

Matthew's eyes grew wide the moment he laid all his focus on her. This was the first time she visits his workplace, and it was enormous; no wonder he never came home. "Elenor? What brought you here?" with his voice all pitchy and doubtful of what he saw.

"So you haven't forgotten me" quietly she spoke, part of her is pleased she's been recognized; part of her dissatisfied that although he has not forgotten, it seems that Matthew is not fond of lying. The face she wears hardly says how pleased he is seeing the young miss.

She rolled her eyes at her father before opening her lips yet again, "I've been trying to reach you and it seems that you were so preoccupied that apparently ignored your own daugh--" he cut her off as a loud noise loaded the room, he pounded his palm on the table, causing her to drop the coffee, the espresso she especially requested in a bigger cup.

Nonetheless he solely glare at her furiously, "What gives you the idea you can come and go here?" he demanded for an answer, Elenor's face couldn't be painted, she scoffed, and finally went on to wipe away the espresso that splatters on her skirt with her hand.

"Don't get me wrong, I'm not here to dote on you since I despise you. Deeply." she lied, of course she came to dote on him "... I'm leaving for college soon. I was hoping you can give me a favor but who am I fooling begging to a man who can barely look me straight in the eyes" He stood there, witnessing his little girl suffer humiliation from him, nevertheless he remains quiet.

She turned around and began making her way toward the doorway where the old man was; it's degrading to allow him see everything; thank goodness he had left. She was relieved when she realized he was no longer there. Elenor tilts her head, wondering who he was. For some reason, he brings up a name she rarely hears these days.
