“Relaxed” Cleaning

WARNING!!! - A little profanity

Ryan - "Get up, we're supposed to be cleaning!" I told my brothers who were sitting on my couch. "Give us a minute, this is your mess we're cleaning up!" Michael replied in a disliking tone. I stuck my tongue out at him and walked into my room. I lay on the side of my bed facing the window and got on my phone. I played Space Asylum 2 for a couple of minutes until I heard a bump on my floor. I race out of my room only to see my mother's dead body being dragged across my kitchen floor and into the backyard. Both of my brothers carried the dead body outside and closed the door behind them. The house was silent for a while, with no sounds outside or anything. I went back into my room and started to play Space Asylum 2 for a while until I got a strange call. ' Taisy calling' It read. I answered the call with a big grin on my face. "Hello Taisy, what might you be calling for?" I ask the person on the other end of the line. "Ryan, I have no time for jokes!" He yelled at me. "Okay, what do you want?" "Why didn't you show up to my sister's party?! You said you would be there! She was so upset when you didn't show up!" He stated. "I'm sorry, I've been caught up with some things." I apologized. He sighed and responded with an okay. "I promise I'll be at Natalie and Emily's party tomorrow," I added before I hung up the phone.

I sat on the bed and heard a knock on my door. I turned toward the door and saw it was Alex "We are done cleaning." He said. I nodded and got up to go into the living room. There I see Michael on my couch, watching tv. We sit down next to each other and I look at him. " What are you thinking about?" He asked. I shake my head and look at the tv. "I heard he called," Michael stated. I turned and looked back at him with a frown on my face, but he just chuckled. When he called, both of my brothers made fun of me. I never knew the reason why, but they would just laugh and point at me. "Just shut up, please, shut the hell up!" I begged. The room was quiet once more, they were both looking at each other. "I don't think it was a good idea to say that." Alex stated, "Remember, we can hurt anyone we choose to. Including that little friend of yours across the street!" Michael cheered. I stood there for a minute, unsure of what to do. Then, out of nowhere, Michael started to laugh uncontrollably. He sounded like he was going to hyperventilate, he was letting out short breaths as he laughed.

"You know we're just kidding, we'd never do such a thing." He started finally calming down. I let out a heavy sigh, they're always doing things like this. I rose from the couch and left the house. I needed a drink and some fresh air, so I decided to rest my head on the brick wall. I closed my eyes and my breathing was still. I was listening to anything I could hear. The sound of crickets chirping and the wind rustling through the trees. The sight of the bright white moon shining directly at my face. And the smell of birthday cake and vanilla ice cream. I couldn't actually smell it, but I like to think I was at the party. My eye suddenly felt heavy and dry, like my eyes hadden blinked in years. I took a deep breath and opened my eyes. I opened the door to my house, the living room was pitch black, I tiptoed to my room and shut the door. The fresh smell of cinnamon rolls hit my nose when I turned around. I put an air freshener in my room two days ago and I never thought it would last so long. (The one I got last week only lasted an hour.) "I wonder how'd it feel when I stabbed her?'' I mumbled to myself. The way I plunged the knife into her stomach over and over again. It felt like I was finally free from all of her (and dad's) bullcrap. I shuffle into my bed and stare at the stars on the ceiling, the stars are so dim. I shut my eyes and took a long breath, I needed to get to sleep anyway, I had a birthday party to go to.

I'm BACK!!! HehEHehE
