House Cup

Everyone is currently is sitting in the Great Hall waiting for the house cup results to be announced. Dumbledore came to the podium and said things that are not that important to be mentioned. He proceeded to announce the points of each house,"In the last place, we have Gryffindor with 180 points. In the third place, we have Hufflepuff with 235 points and Ravenclaw in the second with 285 points. And finally, Slytherin in the first place with 340 points." Slytherins cheered loudly but we're stopped by Dumbledore ,"SILENCE. I have some points to be distributed for extraordinary performances. We have Miss Granger for taking care of others in times of danger, I award Gryffindor 50 points. Mr Weasley for giving Hogwarts an exemplary play in chess never seen from the time of its opening. 50 points. Mr Potter for showing courage to fight against evil and never backing out , I award him 60 points. " The Gryffindors began to whisper how they tied with Slytherin and Dumbledore continued," It takes courage to fight enemies but it takes more courage to fight against friends , for this I award Mr Longbottom ,10 points. I think the decoration needs to be changed." The Gryffindor table roared and the flags changed from Slytherin to Gryffindor.

While the points were being given out the trio, I was being stared by Daphne it was like she was trying to look into my soul. She whispered to me, " You were there with them weren't you? You just came earlier before being found out . " I started sweating and said," No, why do you think that?hahaha." She whispered," I know you were there but I don't want you to get hurt." but she soon realised what she said and her face turned red . This did not go unnoticed by Tracy. She said ,"Our house is on tie with Gryffindor and here the two of you are flirting. Don't you guys have any shame? " I was speechless and Daphne turned redder and said," no, it wasn't like that " but she soon shut up thinking why is she even trying to justify. The banquet soon ended and we went back to our dorms to pack our things and go back home. Just as I exit the hall , Uncle*cough* Professor Snape told me the Headmaster is waiting for me in his office. Hearing this, Daphne raised her eyebrow and confirmed that I was with the trio yesterday. I told them to wait for me in the dorm while I meet Headmaster.

I arrived at the headmaster's office and as soon as I entered something flew to my shoulder. I turned to look and found out it Fawkes at it was cooing at my touch. I saw Dumbledore seated at his table looking shocked to be betrayed by his companion but soon gave a sigh of relief as I was not practicing evil arts as Fawkes would never come to me if did that. He then said," I hope you why called you Mr Morningstar." "Yes, it's because of the Philosopher's Stone." * i don't know how he knew I was there* "You might be thinking how I knew you were there" to which I nodded and he continued," It was because of me seeing you enter the third floor yesterday. You weren't careful Mr morningstar but i thank you for helping the three anonymously twice. Now can you tell me where the Stone is?" I replied truthfully," it was absorbed my bird to awaken its pheonix bloodline" He nodded with a sigh," I heard from Minerva and Severus that you have a bird which is a hybrid of a phoenix and thunderbird, quite amusing. At least the stone didn't get into the wrong hands. You may go now." I nodded but before going I looked at the sorting hat on the shelf and nodded thanking him for keeping his promise. the hat then said," it's okay kid. I always keep my promises and will continued to keep yours." Dumbledore was quite amused seeing this and thinking what promise do I have .

I went back to the dorm and packed things up and met Daphne and others. We went to station and boarded the train. When we finally arrived at London, we made a promise to send letters. I said I may not be able to send letters during 2nd month as I will be going out of the country. Daphne was angry at this but she calmed down when I planylt magic for the 1st time in front of someone and gifted her a blue rose. Later, we went back home
