the second task

after the first task was completed, hogwarts had played host to the yulei ball, during this time ,harry and ron had quite a problem finding partners for themselves, but thankfully for harry, ginny had volenteered to take him up on the offer, saving him from the females of beauxbatons, who wanted to get close to the potter siblings,

ron however ended up with parvati,

the greatest shock however was that ryan himself was asked by fleur to accompany her to the ball, to which he agreed,

during the ball, the two had attracted quite attention from everyone, a handsome man and a peerless beauty, dancing together on the floor took all their breath away,

"that was truly enjoyable" ryan said as he walked fleur back to her room

"yeah, who knew you were such a good dancer?" fleu said as she leaned a bit on him,

"well, our mother forced both me and harry to learn how to dance since we were kids, she said that she would not allow us to shame the potter name in public events" he said while remembering the demonic face that his mother had at that time,

honestly, ryan would prefer to fight an army of types than going against his mother,

while he was deep in thought , fleur herself was mustering up courage to do something crazy,

"we are here" ryan said as they reached her room, she suddenly turned around and hugged ryan and then kissed him on the cheek

"thank you for the night ryan" she said as her face glowed deep red , she then disappeared into her room leaving behind a dumbfounded sorcerer who stood there in a daze

it has been some time since the first task and second was about to begin,

we can see the four contestants getting ready in the stands, Cedric, fleur, and Krum looked to be ready but harry looked completely bored, the only reason he was even participating was that he could sense his brother glaring at his back making sure that he doesn't go anywhere and away from the competition,

after the training in summer, the golden trio had grown bored at these measly tasks and wanted take some rest, but the demon in human form that was his brother, made sure that they did not have any chance tobe lazy, externally they looked stoic and bored, but inwardly, they were crying tears of blood,

harry had also received a weed from nevil which will allow him to breath underwater,

soon the task began and the four contestents jumped into the water,

fleur was using a simple bubble head charm the same as cedric, krum was using a trasfiguration spell to partially transform into a shark

soon the candidates came to the realization that they have to save their friends and loved ones from the merpeople in the lake to compleate the task,

ryan was right now flying above the lake and observing everything that was going on in it, even though he is fully trained, he was still worried about how harry would do in the task, his other concern however was fleur herself,

he watched as cedric managed get his hostage out of the water,

but then suddenly fleur was pushed out of the water by the merpeople without her hostage, she had failed the task,

ryan immediately flew towards her and brought her back to the stands where she started to cry while hugging him

"ryan my sister is still in there, i need to go back!!" she said but she was held back by the headmaster of her academy,

ryan then turned towards the lake and used his power to communicate with harry

' harry , do you see a girl with white hair along with ron?' he asked

' yes i do, but ron looks mighty pissed rightnow, i need to get him out of the water before he starts nagging at me, don't worry ryan, i will get that girl out of here' he said

soon, just as the merpeople were about to surround harry , krum swam through the group and took hermoine

and then krum came out while carrying a annoyed looking hermoiny

harry then used his prana to generate a killing intent and illusion of a predator that scared off everything in the area , he then took both ron and gabriel to the surface

fleus thanked harry for saving her sister, but then she tightly hugged ryan and wispered in his ears

"i know you told your brother to save my sister, i sensed the spike in energy around you a while ago, thank you ryan" she then gently and secretly kissed him on the lips , she then bounced away happily under ryan's stupefied gaze and her headmasters happy eyes, dumbeldoor was the only other person to notice what hapened and had a small smile

that night, at the edges of the forbidden forest, ryan and fleur were sitting near the shore of the pond,

" so , how long have you had feelings for me?" ryan asked

"i don't know, but i do know that, when i am near you, i feel safe, i feel complete, as if a part of me that was missing my whole life was found and completed me, i don't know for how long, but i know that i had loved you for a long time now" she said while looking away from him to hide her red face, but when she turned around all she saw was the serious face of ryan,

"fleur, i will tell you this now, i am someone who had dedicated his entire life for the persuit of magic, i know nothing of how a relationship works, neither do i know how to behave with a girl, so let me ask you, are you okay with someone as incompetent as me?" he asked to which fleur hugged him and said

"ryan, it was those qualities and personality of yours that had attracted me to you in the first place, i would not have you any other way" she said and without giving him time to react, kissed him again
