Chapter 22 I'm Master

They made their escape, slipping away quietly, leaving the two male goblins still under the spell of the female goblins' enchantment. Ego, Lysandra, and their newfound allies returned to the cave's entrance, where Ego had first woken up, in search of a way back to their world.

In an act of harsh retribution, the male goblins shoved the females to the ground, their sharp swords hovering dangerously close to the enchanting creatures' necks.

"We are sorry master, we tried our best," they said in unison.

As Ego and Lysandra considered attempting another escape route within the cave, they suddenly realized they were surrounded. The two female goblins who had been guarding them earlier were gone, replaced by three male goblins. Their options had vanished, leaving them with no choice but to surrender.

"Ooh! Ego we are surrounded," Lysandar pointed out.

"Yeah, I can clearly see that too!" Ego responded.
