They walked in silence until they reached a metal gate, where several familiar faces were waiting.
"Hank, Alex long time no see." Time has left its mark on several people. They have changed from children to adults and were the backbone of school.
"What are you doing here?" Hank asked.
Several people were surprised by Martin's sudden visit, because Martin had not been active in everyone's sight.
"A little personal matter." Charles signaled that they were fine, then after verification, opened the door. Hank walked up behind Charles and pushed him in, then Martin, and finally the other two.
"Hank, start the machine, Mr. Horn needs to use it." Charles said to Hank.
"Okay." Hank said and took them to the machine.
Martin went to the control console, picked up the lie detector-like helmet, and put it on his head. Seeing that Martin was ready, Hank started the machine. It was a very strange feeling. Martin suddenly felt that his telepathic ability had increased countless times, and the entire earth was under his observation. Moreover, anyone can be tracked. Martin saw Emma, Wendy, and Jean who were still at home, and also saw Logan who was on a mission in a backward area. . .
"Raven..." Martin tried to find Raven, but after searching for a long time, he couldn't find her.
Unwilling to give up, Martin simply started searching carefully from the place where Raven last appeared, while using his
magnetic field ability to track her. The last person Raven came into contact with was an information dealer named Caliban. Martin found him first. Caliban's ability was to sense nearby x-factors, so he noticed when Martin's power was approaching him.
"Who are you? What do you want to do?" Caliban asked in panic, sensing this unrivaled power.
"Don't worry, I'm just looking for someone, I'll be there in no time." After Martin told him through his psychic power, he began to explore Caliban's memory, starting from the time of Raven's last phone call. The controlled Caliban had no way to break free and could only wait in fear. Martin didn't intend to inquire about it. These guys were all like that. It must be a test, and there was no guarantee that he would tell the truth.
He can deal with him patiently. It was found that the last time Raven had contact with him was more than a month ago when she asked him for information about a mutant. After Caliban received his reward, Raven left. After confirming that Raven had no further contact with him, Martin told him that he had learned what he wanted to know and left. After Caliban gained control of his body, he immediately collapsed in his chair. He really didn't know who he had offended.
Martin, on his part, tracked down the mutant and first found the mutant that Raven was asking about. He had no memory of Raven at all. In other words, Raven disappeared before she could find him. But in his memory, there was a battle nearby more than half a month ago, and the battle ended quickly, so he did not pay much attention to it. Martin slowly investigated the subtle clues he saw in his memory...
After sometime, Martin founded Raven's whereabouts were found. She was kidnapped by someone named William Stryker, who was a member of Martin's plan. No wonder he couldn't sense Raven. It turned out that Stryker had developed a device that could temporarily block the abilities of mutants, and was now leading people in researching a drug that could permanently suppress mutant genes.
He captured Raven because his friend Boliver wanted to use Raven's ability to change and develop a robot called the Sentinel that could fight against all mutants. Because it was a research base, there were all kinds of messy and complex magnetic fields everywhere, and Martin subconsciously ignored this place.
Martin took off his helmet and dropped it on the table in front of him. Just as Charles was about to ask about the result, Martin said "Found her" and teleported away. Only a few people were left looking at each other. Charles thought for a moment, put on his helmet, and planned to ask Martin what was going on. But just as he found Martin, he was expelled by him and warned Charles not to meddle in other people's affairs. Charles had no choice but to put down his helmet and go back to class.

Martin looked at the remote base in front of him, with a warning sign saying "Important Military Area" hung on it. The intense rage caused the power of the Phoenix to explode.
Martin floated into the air and waved his hand, and the entire base was blocked by Martin.
From a distance, it seemed as if this place was trapped in an inverted transparent eggshell, and even the underground was not spared. An alarm sounded in the base, and everyone surrounded Martin with guns and live ammunition. The surrounding anti-aircraft missiles also aimed at Martin. Stryker and Boliver in the command center saw Martin from the surveillance.
"I wanted to deal with you slowly, but you came to me." Stryker looked at the mutant who had dared to threaten him many years ago, gritted his teeth and ordered: "Withdraw the soldiers and attack directly with missiles."
These missiles has the ability to suppress mutants, and Stryker was confident that Martin was dead this time. With Stryker's order, the missile whizzed towards Martin.
But... Stryker's smile froze instantly, because the missile did not fly towards Martin as he expected, but turned to the soldiers, armored vehicles, etc. outside.
"Use special bullets." Martin doesn't have time to play with them, so he'll just release Raven first. Instantly moved to the prison where Raven was, where several mutants were imprisoned. Raven can't use her abilities, so she was in her blue prototype. She was lying on a bed, wearing a white hospital gown and a special metal collar around her neck.
"Martin, I knew you would come to rescue me." Seeing Martin suddenly appear, Raven rushed over excitedly and got into Martin's arms.
"See if you dare to run around again." Martin hugged Raven tightly and blamed her with a distressed tone.
"No, I'm not going anywhere anymore." When she first came here, she firmly believed that Martin would find her, but when she learned that this place could block telepathy, she felt a little desperate and could only pin her hopes on Martin. In just over half a month, mutants were constantly being taken away and never returned.
She don't know why, she was just taken to have some blood drawn, and then she was kept locked up. As for those mutants, it turned out that mutants were just like humans, not all of them were united, and she was disappointed.
"Sir, the target appears in cell number three."
Stryker looked at Martin and the useful mutant hugging each other in the prison, and finally understood why he came here.
