Outside, on a hill, a tall handsome boy sat on the grass staring at the vast skies. His eyes showed a feeling of peace and happiness. He laid down on the plain green grass and hummed a very lively tune.
"Denear!!"
A green haired lady ran up the hill looking really happy.
Denear sat up and looked at her. "You know big sis Audrey, no matter how many years have pasted, you still look the same."
Audrey looked back at him excitedly. "Why thank you! But look at you! You've grown up so much and now you're finally able to go to the Sword and Magic Academy that we talked about years ago!"
Denear replied, "You know the moment I said I wanted to go to that academy, both my parents just sent an envoy out with a letter and said that I would be admitted without going for the entrance test. How would they know! They had just sent the letter!"
.....
~Years back, at the Sword and Magic Academy, in the South kingdom of Cesea~
An old man with a long white beard sat in a dark room with light peeping through the window curtains.
A knock was heard from the door
"Come in." The man's voice was soft but it could still clearly be heard from the outside.
"Head Master!" A scholar looking man entered the room. He had long glasses on and it accompanied with a very distressed look. "I got a very important letter for you!"
The old man received the latter from his hands and said, without looking at the letter. "What's so important that it could make you look this distressed vice principal?"
"This letter is from the most powerful and influential noble family, The Cornelius Family!" The vice principal exclaimed.
"I see... Well, let me read it first and see what they want with our school." The old man opened the envelope and took out the letter. He read the letter a loud.
"Dear Head Master, since I hate putting on airs, i'll just get to the point. The Cornelius family would want to admit my one and only son into the Sword and Magic Academy. I don't really want him to take the entrance exam which could separate him from us for a few days or weeks just to travel and be exposed to unknown dangers especially because i'll miss him terribly. If you do not comply with this request, i'll make sure to tell the world of your feti...(The principal went quiet but read with anxious eyes).....oh and if anything happens to my son while he is admitted in your academy, my beloved wife and I would personally come and handle the matter along with the wrath of the whole family. Well, that's about it. Don't worry about his studies, he is quiet smart. I hope you make the right choice and admit my son without any questions....but I doubt you're that stupid."
The old man's hands were trembling a little bit. "What the HECK! He doesn't even give me a chance to decline! Why do you have to threaten me just because you just LOVE YOUR SON TOO MUCH! And is he talking about that lady he fought with all those years ago!! Why do you have to trouble this Old Man?!! Why can't you just pick another school?!" The old guy was shouting hysterically.
The vice principal listening to him while reading the letter and was really scared at what would happen if they did not do as requested. He had no idea whether to join the Head Master in his shouting session or go back to his office and start calculating their losses and potential problems. He also started to consider whether Denear should be placed in his own room or let him share with other people.
But if people were to offend him and he tells his parents! That would be the signature of our total inhalation if those couple arrive! 'This is too hard to decide!' The vice principal was scratching his head. Maybe he should just wait and let him decide what he wants to do and just comply with his wishes. 'Yeah, that's the only thing I can do... I just need to make sure he does not get angered by anything.'
