Chapter 4: The Search, part 2

"Ha ha, I already know they lied to me." Wheatley snickered. "I'm not going to trust whoever is speaking to tell me what I can and cannot do. Actually, since even an Aperture Science Atomic Clock is right twice a day, there may be times I need to trust them. Just not that often. So, why don't you put those plates on me so you don't have to carry me around all the time. And also so I can move freely."

After Gordon had placed the plates on Wheatley, he used the elevator shaft. Then, using a combination of high/long jumps and holding onto Wheatley's handles so Wheatley could transport him, Gordon went through Enrichment Spheres #2 and 3 and came to the 1970's area of Aperture.

"Ok, so you should find the sliding door entrance to the chamber that holds the Borealis in a room that is suspended near the building that has "control room" written on it. What a mouthful."

With Wheatley's help, Gordon made it to the sliding door - which opened automatically when he approached it. They went down a short hallway and through the only doorway on the right.

"Hey, isn't this where that ship, what was it called, uhh, Bora-something, was being stored? At least that's what it said in the database when I was in control. It's not here however. I hope you weren't trying to find the ship, otherwise you would be disappointed right now. Hey, I think I see someone over there. If he is a test subject, he is a pretty dandily-dressed one."

Gordon vaulted the relatively short, open-aired gate and walked towards the briefcase-carrying figure.
