Chapter 17 (Plot twist 5)
It's been a two weeks since we had the party. Today? I am busy preparing for our event. Today is our day! Today is the most awaited day of my life! Today is our wedding! I can't express how happy I am. I don't know but my heart is beating extra different. But all I know is I am happy that I will marry the girl I've dream of.
"Are you ready son?". I heard my mom ask me. We are here in a hotel since I am preparing and I with my mom. She gets closer to me and then she fix my vest. She look at me like I will go somewhere and she won't see me anymore.
"Mom why are you like that? You look sad? Aren't you happy that I will be married to Noelle?". I ask her and she immediately shakes her head. She is stopping herself from crying.
"I am happy son. Absolutely happy. I am just crying because of happiness. I remember before I am imaging you waiting in the altar for your bride. And now? You will wait for you girl and I am happy because I will witness it with my own eyes". She said and she did not stop herself from crying that's why I laugh a little.
"Mom, why the hell you think you won't witness me waiting in the altar huh? You are such a paranoid person, don't you?". I said then I tap her shoulder and hug her so tight. The amount of love I feel towards Noelle is doubled on what I feel on my mom. I get it that sometimes she is getting paranoid since she is aging? I don't know.
"Nothing. By the way I will go now and visit Cristina on the other room. Go and fix yourself". Mom said then she walk out peacefully. Her mood swings is such something. That is my mom, such a crazy person. Well, she is a girl.
After one hour of preparing, I am now here in the car alone and my bride is in different car because that is the tradition here in the Philippines that you can't see your wife when its your wedding day.
"You can now go sir. Wait for your bride". The driver said to me and then I get out and get inside the church. Some people are already there and I smile at them. I don't know the other guests some of them are friends of my mom and tita. Business related I think.
The operator told me to stay in front and the event will start in five minutes. I am thinking right now how beautiful my future. Like how she will surprise me on her beauty even more. I am pretty excited to see her wearing her desired gown. I love her so much.
"Your wife is already behind the door. Just wait for her and you know what will you do". The operator remind me and that makes me happy since I will see my wife in few minutes.
I nod at the operator and he go away to mind other things. My mom is not here beside me because tita and mom will be the one who will lead Noelle to me while walking on the aisle.
After a few minutes of waiting, the door open. It's so white that I did not saw her immediately. Noelle is wearing a white long gown that makes her more beautiful. For me, she is thee most pretty, gorgeous, beautiful woman in the world aside from my mom. She is my dream girl and I can't understand myself why I am feeling butterflies in my stomach.
The song begun and she is walking slowly to me. I am just staring at her while she is walking. It looks like I can't see other people walking. They are just useless in my eyes right now because I am just pertaining to my soon to be wife. I can't stop myself from smiling because after hours, I will be his husband and can call myself man later because of her.
When she reach the altar, I grab her hands from my mom and tita. I walk her until the altar where the father will guide us.
The father started his mass. After more minutes of listening to him, he ask us to read our wedding vow.

Dear babe, I know our journey is not easy. I know sometimes I am hard to understand and I can be the ignore type of person when I am mad but still, you choose me. I am very thankful because God gave me to you. I hope you too. I promise that I will understand you all the time, I will mindful about your feelings and more. In times that you can't understand yourself, I will understand you. In times that you are tired in everything, I will help you. I will give things that will make our family happy and i promise you that you will not be hurt under my roof emotionally and physically babe. This words can't express how much love I can give to you but I hope you know. I hope you can feel it. I will promise to your mom that I will take care of you no matter what happen, also to our future kids. Babe, later on you will carry my name and I want to tell you that I love you so much. I really do.
That is my wedding vow that makes Noelle a little teary so I grab my tissue and carefully wipe her tears. Now, its her turn.
I, Noelle Nicaragua soon to be Noelle Nicaragua Houston will promise to love you every now and then. I will promise to help you and understand you every time. I will join you to fulfill your dreams in life as well as I fulfill mine. We will be rich together and that's a promise. I won't leave you behind when there is bad days ahead. Tough days will surely come and I hope you will still stay bad times and in good times. I know I am not perfect person but I will try and help my self to be better woman and better wife to you. I will take care of our children in the future and surely I will love them as how much I love you. I know sometimes when I am not in my mood, I don't talk to you or something but just have a little patience to me. I am just having a hard time on myself too. Just give me consideration and I will be good to you. I waited for you and this day to come and thank God because he give me lots of patience to wait that's why I am here in the right direction of my life. I love you babe. I love you so much
That is what she said to me and that gives me goosebumps and I just want to kiss her badly but it will happen later. When the mass ended, we kiss on our parent and give them a hug and i talk to some of my friends today. They kept on telling me congratulations and I saw thank you and i am happy to see them.
When I look around, I saw Jeorella looking from a far. When she saw me looking at her she smile and turn around and she walk away. I was about to get closer to her just to talk to her and say sorry but Elijah stop me. Yes, Elijah is here because according to Noelle, Elijah is a good friend of here even though she is part of the Nicola family. At first I thought that he is dead but he said he survived. Thank God.
"Thank you for this day! Now, Jeorella and I are married. I love you all". I said then I kiss her in front of the crowd and they kept yelling. Today is the best day of my life. January 31, 2021.
