Chapter 13 (Plot twist 1)

It's been tten years since I said yes to Gab. Just to be true, all of the people around us when we are in a relationship are all way different. We've been in a situation where we almost fight at nights through phones or something. Also, it's been ten years since Gab and tita separate from us as a sign of respect. There is nothing wrong with that and we both understand it fully.

Now, we are in this white walls and full of silence. I am wearing a white gown with chart on my right hand. I am on my own office and working on my own hospital where I built my name and where my passion started.

Today is already 11 in the evening and i am sitting here on my swivel chair while waiting for my boyfriend to come. Yes, we are boyfriend and girlfriend for almost ten years. We are strong, aren't we?

"Doc. Nicaragua I will go ahead now. My mom is waiting for me outside. Thank you again for the gift and take care Doc. See you tomorrow". One of my nurses said. She is the one I am helping with to be a licensed doctor. She has a talent and future though and they can't afford the medicine school so I will provide it to her.

"Okay future doctor. Go ahead. Say hi to your mom for me. Thank you too". I said then wave my hand as she close the door and leave. I heard someone is talking from outside but I don't mind it. I am now holding and reading a chart from one of my patient. I am kind of problematic about his health.

"Can I pick up my Doctor now?". I heard the energetic voice of my loved ones. I immediately put down the chart and I stand up to hug him so tight. It's been our scene every time he will go here just to pick me up.

"I really love your smell, you smell good always babe". I said then I kiss his cheeks and I just found out that he is holding box of foods. I help him to put it down on my table. I've kind of used to this set up of us. That's why i have a little table here fixed on my office just for the two of us.

"You know what babe we got a new project and the buyer wants me to be the captain of that condo that he wants. I mean it such a big project for me and he gave me a very good offer. He said someone referred me to him but he don't want to say who is that person but I am thankful for that". He said while opening the bottle of water. He seems so happy according to his face and expression in life.

"You are so good babe that's why. Good thing you've been a successful engineer! I am proud of you still like how proud I am when I knew that you passed your board exam. I mean you are so good and I really really love you! I love you babe!". I said then I make a cute face in front of him. This is how we cuddle.

"That's why I love you babe. You are so supportive to me and you don't know how much impact it will cause me. Promise! I am really happy when you are being proud to me. I mean, I am also proud at you because look at you now! You have your own hospital and you are licensed professional doctor but still you help poor people and you don't ask for exchange is my greatest flex to my co-workers". He said then he started eating. I look at his hair and its quite messy like unsual. So i extend my arm and fix it using my hand. I am so attracted on his hair and that is so insane.

He just smile at me and he giggles. We eat peacefully while we are exchanging stories about how our day went. This is the bond that makes us strong, communication. We don't want to loosen our communication that's why.

After we eat, he manage to fix all the trash and throw it on the trash bin. He get my bag on the other side and I am just watching him doing weird things. I don't know why he is getting my bag yet we are just going home. He hold my wrist and he pulled me going outside. I try to make him stop to ask.

"What? Where are we going babe? Do we need to do something? I mean why are you in a hurry always huh". I said then I look around to say hi on other personnel on my hospital. I have another doctor who can take care of the hospital when its my time to rest.

"I will bring you to something. Just follow me and listen. Nothing bad will happen". He said then he pulled me again. I just follow what he said. I kept quiet and just follow him. He put me on the car and he drove somewhere. I know he has a surprise. I just feel it because he is leading other way than going home. Gab is that type of guy who always wants to show and give surprises and I appreciate his effort always. As in always!

"You seem excited Gab. I mean babe". I said when I noticed myself stating his name instead of our endearment. He will be mad i am sure.

He look at me deadly like he is sad. "Look at the road. Safety first. Sorry for that babe". I said referring to the endearment I said.

"Don't you love me anymore?". He ask with pouted face. I want to laugh because he is acting so cute but I don't want to ruin his mood. He wants cuddles I am sure to that.

"baby I love you always and forever. It's just a small mistake. I just got excited because of your reaction. You look like you will bring me to somewhere that will make me happy. I don't know". I said because me myself is having a hard time to think about it. It will just drive me crazy. I don't want to be stress.

"But still you don't love me. You call me Gab instead of babe. I want just babe, babe, babe and babe. No other endearment, just babe! Okay?". He said while pouting. I nod my head and touch his cheeks and kiss it slowly. That makes him smile and he is being a baby in a literal way. He looks so cute. We act like teenager still.

"We are now here babe. I will lead you all the way down and I have here a handkerchief. I need to place this on your eyes. I have a surprise. I am excited for this!". He said then he put now the handkerchief on my eyes and he lead me all the way down. He do what he said.

"Babe make sure I won't fall on this scene you are doing okay. I am telling you if I get mad because of your doings I won't talk to you!". I said giving him a warning.

"Promise babe this won't be a regret to you. I hope you like it". he said then he remove the handkerchief on my eyes and it revealed me this beautiful scene I always wished to happen. My stomach is now having butterflies and I don't know what to say. I am so happy indeed!
