Chapter 88

Tai looks over the wonders of the island when she seen something that looked like a sloth, but instead of fur it had green moss covering its body.

" all the beast look part vegetation" Tai said as she helps Larissa over a fallen tree, they look at a volcano that's close to the middle of the island.

Fauna looks around then throws her hand up for everyone to stop moving when they hear one of the soldiers panicked voices.

" quick sand quick someone throw me a line....what th hell " he said as he felt something wrap around his leg as it spins around his upper body as its rounded head comes face to face with the mans it was larger than the mans head, it looked like a vine but acted like boa python as it squeezed the man. Everyone could hear the bones snapping under the pressure when others ran over avoiding the quick Sand several more vines raise from the ground blocking their way to the man as the heads open up showing six rolls of teeth and a reptilian tongue flicking in and out.

Fauna pulls her bow out shooting a arrow into the mans head, she loosens her gaze then motions everyone away from the area.

" stay alert use a waking staff to test the area you walk in, if you dont have one make one and stay away from those vines." Fauna said as she glances over to where the man use to be, they hike on for several hours when they come across land that had no vegetation only dried lava covering a massive areas.

" will set up a temporary camp here, will explore the area until the sun sets then return to camp. Day break will head in the tunnels to find the grim flower and make our way back to the others and decide to stay another night on the island or head to the mainland to set camp up. " Fauna said as she goes into a tent she quickly set up, Larissa already had their tent ready.

" Tai " Larissa said as she quickly kisses Tai, her hands wonder up and down Tais body. Tai gives her access to her neck as Larissa gently kisses it, Tai pulls away from Larissa with a pained expression and breathing heavy.

" KEEP YOUR DISTANCE " Tai screamed, she shoves Larissa away and Fauna made her way out from the tent when she heard the scream.
