Chapter 30 - End Of An Earth Shaking Battle

The entire space around the pocket space grew incredibly cold under the heretic flames.

Chi meili's cold eyes glowed with blood lust, the kind that could send chills down the spine of anyone.

Boom!

Another sound rang out from the Orange gate behind her. And what followed was not the release of a user art but a chant.

The staffs around began to arrange themselves in a circular formation around the mysterious figure

"Cold light of the burning world,

The area instantly turned white but this brilliant white didn't give off a feeling of good, it radiated a feeling of hatred

Suddenly, seven balls of flames appeared around the tip of the staffs like planets around the sun but they were not meteorite like before they were pure condensed heretic flames and they were increasing by the second

"Vent out malice, vent out hatred, destroy my enemies

A deafening sound reverberated across space causing the white area to vibrate violently

The pressure and energy radiating from the balls of heretic flames increased like the size

They continued to grow before they all stopped at the size of two metres

The figure looked around at the attacks that were targeted at them, the pressure suppressed the dark mist around the mysterious figure.

The pressure was different and otherworldly and the air grew denser, the attack is an SSS GRADE user art so how could anything within the space remain normal?

The power radiating from the condensed balls of flames were enough to level the world, such power couldn't be used in the world. Hence, the creation of the pocket space

"You.... what do you think you're doing!" The figure yelled and dashed at chi meili who was staying at a spot but the staffs didn't stop them this time around, they all remained at their positions with the balls of heretic flames orbiting around them

The figure released azure dragon flames around their hands, the moment the flames appeared, the space around the figure shattered like paper.

Whoosh!

The flames condensed on the figures palm as they charged at chi meili at a terrifying pace.

Chi meili didn't dodge or make any move to counter the incoming attack all she did was sneer at the figure approaching her. She looked like a demon that descended upon the world her eyes emanating the viciousness of her rage.

Bang!

An ear piercing sound shook the space as the figure hit chi meili on her tummy, sending her flying backwards, towards the border of the pocket space. The Flame armour around her collapsed the moment the figure hit her with their azure flames.

The figure now standing in chi meili's position trembled, because the attacks that chi meili released didn't disappear after she got hit rather they were about to erupt!

"Be consumed by the flames that go against the heavens" Chi meili said

"Heretic Flames Earth Destroyer!

The moment chi meili said those words

BOOM!!!

The balls of the condensed heretic flames were all released. Firing hundred of thousands of flaming beams to the figure at once.

"!!!" The figure shook as the heretic projectile got closer, the figure looked at chi meili who was near the border of the pocket space. The figure shuddered at a realisation, the realisation that chi meili let them hit her and send her away out of the centre of the attacks " curse you!.....". There was no escape because the attacks were coming from all angles at once!

Chi meili smiled at the beautifully destructive sight before her as blood flowed from her mouth and the wound on her abdomen "I don't know the limits of this flames and even with this pocket space I am unsure if the attacks would reach the outside world but it is worth it"

BOOM!

The attacks collided with the figure at the centre enveloping them in a dazzling ice cold orange light. Space ruptured as the attack sent spacial waves flying in all directions

Crack!

A soul crushing Cracking sound reverberated as a long Crack appeared at the middle of the space and it was growing. There was no way the pocket space, could withstand such a powerful wave of attacks. If the Heretic flames could burn space itself how much more this space that was created with it's power?

The Crack grew as the explosion spread throughout the entire space, covering even chi meili.

BOOM!

The pocket space collapsed with an explosive sound that shook the entire Flame continent.

Tremor!

And at the same time the Flame barrier set up by the mysterious figure shattered like glass under the explosion of energy.

Flame Imperial Palace

Flame emperor :"So when are you co----!

Tremor!

The Flame emperor was still busy talking with the guardian when the vibration occurred

Chituga :"What is the mat---"

The Guardian stopped talking because he just felt something terrifying, it was because he could suddenly sense a bizarre change in chi meili's energy and it was her full power growing weaker by the second

"Ryu Chen check it out immediately!" Chituga said

"Are you coming back right now"

"No, but the moment I'm done I would be returning to the Flame continent, quickly go!" Chituga shouted

And immediately the Flame emperor put the phone down.

Whoosh!

He disappeared out of sight leaving the administrative chamber empty

The explosion continued spreading destroying everything in the Beast Range of Torment for about ten thousand kilometres before stopping

The whole continent turned to look towards the direction of the explosion

"What just happened" someone said

"Are we under another attack" another said in fear, they were still traumatised by what they experienced on the day of falling stars. The dread still lingered in their hearts and soul.

"We can't be under another attack"

The powerful experts scattered across the continent immediately rushed over to the location of the explosion

The Flame emperor appeared hovering above the explosion but he couldn't find chi meili, her aura disappeared from his senses

"What in the world happened here?" He asked himself as he looked at the large hole of ten thousand metres from the sky

He couldn't feel the aura of anyone, both familiar and foreign.

He flew to the epicentre of the attack to search for any residual aura but still didn't find anything

Guardian's Region

Chi meili slowly walked as blood flowed from her abdomen.

She had escaped the attack using the force from the hit of the mysterious figure to propel herself out of the pocket space "I hope they are able to catch that devil" she said as she dragged her body

She knew she couldn't kill that figure no matter how much she tried, someone who could easily escape and appear in the Guardian's Region without the Flame emperor knowing, how is that person ordinary?

She had planned that even though she couldn't kill them, she would cause a level of damage to the mysterious figure, so when the Flame emperor arrived he would be able to capture the mysterious entity.

She had to hide her aura and get away as fast as she could, because she knew that the Flame emperor would take her injuries as priority and forget the mysterious figure so she couldn't let him find her. At least not now.

Her breathing grew heavier as she struggled to move, she just wanted to get home and see nigo safe before she finally collapse but her wounds were not healing at all. In fact, she felt herself losing strength with every step she took.

"What..... is go.....ing. ..on" she muttered softly under her breath. Naturally, an injury like this was nothing for an expert like herself. With the use of utility energy normal injuries can be healed but loss of body parts can't. No matter how powerful that user may be. However, if the user can use spirit manifestation even if it's just ten percent, then even without trying to heal that person's injuries, that lost body part would naturally be recovered although the speed of recover varies according to percentage.

With her sixty percent mastery, she could fully recover from the hole in her abdomen in thirty minutes but right now the injury was still bleeding and showing no signs of stopping.

She stopped moving and tried to focus all her energy into healing but it didn't work. She felt like something was blocking the cells in her body from recovering and covering the wound.

She looked at the injury closely and noticed a wisp of azure coloured energy covering the wound.

She tried using utility energy mixed with spirit energy to repel it but it didn't work.The only time something like this would happen is when the energy that inflicted the injury was too high for the victim, so they won't be able to eradicate the energy in the injury.

She gritted her teeth, the only thing that would eradicate the energy was the heretic flames and in her present condition she couldn't use it.

She tried to continue her journey but she fell to her knees, she had lost her strength and at this rate she would die. She wanted to release her aura to draw attention but she decided against it, she wanted the Flame emperor to catch the mysterious figure no matter what.

She withdrew her utility energy and spirit energy into her body, she wrapped the energy around her life core.

She closed her eyes. The energy she wrapped around her life core is to keep her life even if she runs out of blood in her veins and arteries. The technique would preserve her life for one whole day without blood. She believed that by then the Flame emperor should have caught the mysterious figure and found her body

"Nigo, I just hope you are safe" she said to her self as her consciousness faded

Guardian's Villa

Nigo found himself in an empty world, a place he had never seen before. He was confused because this wasn't a world he was unfamiliar with, it was his consciousness.

He looked around observing the area around him, the space is filled with clear clean water for as far as his eyes could see the water reflected the boundless sky filled with white clouds above him.

He wasn't sinking despite standing opon the water and his feet did not get wet either.

He remembered that he had been in a mind battle with that foreign entity that threatened to take over his mind but the battle ended when a mysterious white light appeared in his mind.

"!!!"

He shook as he remembered that he was about to release a powerful attack against granny chi

"Granny chi!..... no no I have to help her " he said to himself as he looked at his body

He could still feel his consciousness but for some reason he could not sense his surrounding.

"Where the hell am I? "

"Am I dead"

"No you aren't dead"

A voice that caused ripples, to appear on the still water beneath him resounded in this place

He shook even more violently because he didn't her the voice with his ears, he heard it with his soul.

"Who are you! Show yourself!" nigo shouted as he looked around him to see any figure but he didn't find any thing

"Are you that being that wants to take over my body!" Nigo continued. he grew angry

"Relax, I am not the enemy"

An ancient mystifying voice resounded behind him
