Lights and Colors 2

I smiled, shaking my nead. "An outing? Where?"

Morgan shrugged. "Just around the city. She wants to start."

"Start?"

Morgan nodded. "She is human. She craves lights, flowers and everything. I want her happiness."

I nodded. His eyes lit up whenever he talks about her, and It looked pretty good on him.

"Uhm.." I started to say. "That thing..the phone, why won't it come on?"

He stared at me for a minute, his brows furrowed, then suddenly burst into hysterical laughter.

"Man!" I forgot." He said, laughing.

"Forgot what?"

"You need to charge it. You should, really. I want to get a lot of photos with Samantha today."

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever. I will charge it when I want to use it, not when you want to use it."

MORGAN'S P.O.V.

"I guess this will be okay." I touched the material. It was a normal cloth, one a girl would go outing with. It was baby pink, paired with black trousers. She would look good in it. Nick only rolled his eyes. He was fighting his feelings for hee by not having anything good to say about her, and I guess that's fine. It didn't matter what he did as long as he wasn't taking his initial admiration of her to the next level.

I picked a couple clothes like that, and a couple shoes to match. I wasn't good with shopping, and I just hoped she would like my choice of clothing.

Nick came back with me to the palace and stayed down, keeping himself busy while I ran up, all the bags occupying my hands.

When I got up, the door to my room was locked, but I could hear her singing inside. Something along the lines of 'one last time..'

I smiled to myself and knocked, knowing fully well I could go in, but it could be better to act like a normal boyfriend for once.

"Who's there?"

I cleared my throat. "Your boyfriend." I called back.

I heard the giggles, and then the door opened. She was standing in my white robe, her hair tied in my white towel.

"Hey." I said, relaxing on the door frame, taking in her appearance.

"Uhm, hi. Where were you?"

"Oh. Shopping. You didn't forget your outing today, right?"

She looked at the bags I held up. "So much for one outing?"

I shook my head. "No, a lot for alot of outings."

"You think they'll like me?"

I seemed to think about it, then answered her. "Well, I think they will, once you let their king in the room."

"Sorry," She said laughing. "Come in, your highness."

"Nope, what's in there to see? Just my little old room."

She frowned. "How about me?"

"Well..you are.."

She held the hem of my shirt and dragged me in, taking me by surprise.

"Wow," I said after she closed the door. "You're really something else. Tell me, have you been hiding this side of you ever since?"

She only sighed and removed the towel from her head. "Come get me ready."

"With pleasure," I answered.
