Green desire

I cling to my pillow recalling all my time lost to that jerk. Eventually we are done because of giving me less attention. I just can't bare that in mind because it killed me slowly when others did care. Not to forget, tommorow is a big day in my life and moving on is a must.

I switch on my music pill and listen to my favourite music of classic jams.

After a long night, i wake up with a sound of music in my ears, looking around , I see my pill still on playing slow jams till morning.

The brighter side is that it's six in the morning and my interview is at eight.

I Put off my pyjamas and shirt, I pull on my towel to the bathroom. After a cold shower I brush my teeth then set off to my closet to change.

looking through my clothes, I choose office pants and a white long sleeved shirt with it's matching black blazer I then sit on my bed and do my makeup after which I spray my dreadlocks bun. Carrying my bag pradaout of the bedroom to the living room.

"Alice what took you so long? It's now seven thirty and your still here, "Mum asks.

"Am sorry let me get going" I replied as I picked an apple from the fruit basket and left.

In the walk way , I picked my phone out of my bag and called for an Uber to take me to forest organization. I entered the Uber and left for my interview.

"May I please help you?"The receptionist asked me politely.

She was a tall dark skinned lady ( black American) with a robotic smile which I returned after her question.

"Am here for an interview with the board of governor's regarding their invitation after reading through my mail a week ago. "I replied with a smile.

She gave me a swipe door card as she gave me directions to floor ten room one. Then I took my lead to the elevator.

I moved slowly while taking a look at the well furnished interior with boardrooms having meetings. And the co workers I crossed paths with had robotic smiles as we exchanged greetings.

This experience reminded me of the Thi world court room where we made our last walk of "Fame"for our expulsion penalty. Everyone looked at us with disgust but I was not picking a leaf since mother hadn't explained anything to me.

But my mind still looks back to the first day he asked me to be his girlfriend. It was a year ago at his work place called Modeyl palace. He was the chief executive officer and we had met in a youth conference a month before dating.

My role was to make sure the conference would run smoothly at the university hall. I made my money but his attraction towards me won me a great prize. We started the relationship but after a few months, he started to mind more about his work than our relationship.

What I never regret is having sex with him on our first date at his luxurious apartment . This must have lowered my guard on him. But the only thing I needed from him was attention and he failed me.

After a year of pushing forward a stagnant relationship, I had to accept my fate and fall out of his game.
