Chapter 66 - An Unexpected Message
Talon took a moment before responding to Emily's eager anticipation. He knew that the System would eventually issue him a new quest, and intriguingly, it hadn't presented itself since his winning on "Passionate Beats." Now, the quest had reappeared with a challenge of monumental proportions, accompanied by significant risk. Failure would mean losing his voice, a consequence he couldn't ignore.
"Emily…" he finally spoke up.
Emily nodded repeatedly, her curiosity piqued by what he was about to say.
"I'm going to audition for the main lead," he stated simply.
Emily paused, absorbing his decision. It was the response she had hoped for, yet she hadn't fully expected him to embrace such a daunting challenge.
She smiled softly, momentarily at a loss for words.
