After enduring a night under the onslaught of a blizzard, the morning brought relief as the storm ceased, allowing the rescue team to renew their search efforts. It didn't take long for them to locate where Talon and Crystal were sheltered.
By the time they were found, their condition was dire, nearly depleted of bodily fluids and stamina. They had survived purely on resolve, for there was nothing left physically within them to sustain their endurance. Starved and in Crystal's case, suffering from severe pain, their state was critical.
They were discovered unconscious and immediately rushed to the nearest hospital for urgent medical care. Slowly, with proper and prompt treatment, their condition began to stabilize.
