How could this happen?

I ignored the message. I don't want want to see any messages from Matt right now.

*knocks on the door*

"Hey, Chloe?"

It's Charlotte.

I cannot let Charlotte see me like this, soaked with my own tears.

"I just brought something for you, Chloe. I didn't mean to hear you and Matt a while ago. I was at the kitchen getting something to drink. And I..."

She stopped for a second. I could hear her sighing.

"Just please let me in?"

My heart hurts so much. The beautiful moments that happened between me and Matt are overlapping inside my head. The flashbacks are suddenly filling up my mind. It felt like it was begging me to remember all of them at the same time.

I can't form any words.

"Just call me when you need me, okay, Chloe? I love you. You know that. We love you." she sighed. "Good night."

I heard Charlotte while I'm slowly drifting to sleep.
