Are you scared or maybe you do not understand human speech?" with a contemptuous laugh, another fireball appeared in Snape's hand, which he again threw towards the barrier and then, it split into ten parts and, like the previous ones, they crossed the barrier and rushed into the largest trees. 

Yes, it was a "cheap" method of provocation, but against such creatures, which had almost no intelligence and were especially irritable, with the exception of some individuals, this should have been enough to lure it out. 

And in the next moment, the dark aura began to thicken sharply, engulfing the fireballs and dispelling them again, the wizard heard the rustle of leaves behind the barrier …  

A thin human like creature, black hand with long claws appeared, and a second one followed it ... And finally, it appeared completely: it was a lean, skeletal humanoid creature with blood-red eyes, pointed ears, and a pair of horns.
