Chapter 21
The land of flowers
Nimako was not surprised to hear that community was called the land of flowers. It deserved the name; a place where if one went would not doubt for its name.
Even the Eiffel Tower could not compete with the millions of light blinking along the endless rows of flower greenhouses, resembling a brilliant glass city. One could even get luckier to catch a glimpse of the colorful patchwork fields made up of tulips, crocuses and gladiolas.
Every week, the Jubilee Park was decorated with flowers and anybody who got the opportunity to travel to the community, would do anything to get that coveted ‘selfie’ in a flower field. Their enthusiasm sometimes made the flower growers grumble because they had to deploy ambassadors to protect their valuable product and to keep the visitors from trampling their flowers.
