156. Raven
"Sit down". Raven ordered Alex to sit on the edge of the bed and cupped his cheeks with her hands.
This is not the first time that she has been this assertive about it. She does this plenty of times but she never properly finishes the thing and hasn't taken the last step as well.
Alex does feel frustrated about it but she finishes it off with a blowjob so it saves him some frustration.
"Guess, it's time to deal with you father as well". Alex said after they finished the kiss.
"No need hurry about it. I am pretty well these days". Raven shook her head and denied him.
She has been stalling this matter for a while and even Alex is starting to get a little impatient.
"My power has grown since two years ago. I am confident in dealing Mr Mxyzptlk and Trigon is a small fly in fro t of him". Alex said with a bit of impatience in his voice.
"I know but I want to do it myself". Raven shook her head and finally said what was in her heart.
"I can understand". Alex nodded but just thought that he will keep a lookout for her to make sure she doesn't do anything stupid.
"Listen, you know we are all your family and you can ask our help". Alex pulled her into his arms and spoke to her softly while stroking her back.
"I know but I just want to do it myself". Raven nodded and put her head on Alex's shoulder.
She just wanted to prove to herself that she was worthy and strong enough to stay by his side.
She just couldn't let go of this obsession in her heart to finally defeat her Father herself.
Get rid of this abomination from her life once and for all.
"Sigh, you just never listen". Alex shook his head in defeat and sighed.
Raven kept her mouth shut and didn't say anything to aggravate his mood.
"So when you telling Cassandra about your little thing with me?" Suddenly, Alex smirked teasingly and asked.
"Hmph". Raven turned her head aside when she heard his words.
Cassandra was her best friend and she somehow couldn't tell her about Alex and herself.
Everyone knew about it except Cassandra for some reason and Raven had made them shut up about it as well.
She also knew about Cassandra and Alex but she just couldn't tell Cassandra in turn for some odd reason.
"You better tell her. I think she is suspicious and will erupt if she knew that you didn't tell her". Alex warned her with a smirk.
He wanted to enjoy when Raven would tell Cassandra and see her reaction to it.
It wouldn't be much considering it's Cassandra but she won't let Raven go if she knew how long she has been hiding this from her.
"I want to grow stronger". Raven looked up at Alex and said firmly with blazing eyes.
"You sure?" Alex raised his eyebrow and asked.
"Yeah". She clenched her fists and replied with conviction.
"Then let me give you a taste of how strong Trigon is?" Alex finished saying and snapped his fingers to Take Raven to a dead planet.
"You will come at me with the intent to kill and don't worry, you won't be bale to kill me". Alex said and just stood there with his arms folded in front of his chest.
Raven turned serious and the darkness that she controls flared up around her like a tsunami.
"Azarath Metrion Zinthos". She chanted a spell and the darkness turned into a giant demon that started to punch towards Alex.
Alex just looked at it and swatted it away like a fly. The power behind it was amazing but nowhere near what it's needed to be.
"Azarath Metrion Zinthos". She tried to control Alex's body with Telekinesis but Alex just broke out of it easily.
Trigon isn't all that strong. He is only strong because he can Reality Warp in his dimension that just gives him a big boost in power.
Otherwise, the guy is only about Solar System Level in power.
"You are barely at a power level to destroy a planet but your power is nowhere near enough yet". Alex commented on her use of her powers.
"Then what do I do?" Raven stopped attacking and asked.
"Be more ruthless behind your strikes and tamper your will because your powers work on your will". Alex gave her some advice after thinking about it a little.
He has felt hesitation in her strikes even though her face looked serious and ready to kill.
If she just takes the hesitation out of her strikes then she will be able to pinpoint her attacks at an enemy's weakness.
Which will maximise the damage she deals to the body to the opponent's body.
Plus strengthening will allow her to tap more power out of her own being.
She has huge reserves of power. Her will is just not strong enough to tap into that power.
She has been suppressing her emotions rather than facing them head on and controlling them as her own.
Her feelings may be less chaotic around Alex but that's because he is helping her with his powers.
Facing her own emotions will allow her to grow phenomenally and Alex has just the thing for it.
"I will out you in a time dilation area. My realm will cover it in full power at first but it will slowly weaken the effect to allow you to slowly confront your emotions.
If you are able to fully control your emotions fluently. Then you will have the power necessary to confront Trigon". Alex said and snapped his fingers to make a small area covered with a time dilation barrier on the dead planet.
"Thank you". Raven said softly and walked into the barrier immediately.
Only a day will pass outside the barrier but she will have at least from a year to ten years inside depending on her speed on mastery.
She won't grow any older inside the barrier. Alex made sure to preserve her age at the same point as she goes in.
