Chapter 4: Falling Apart
Morning rose and Jake was woken up by the officers entering the room and telling him he can leave, Jake was then escorted down the hall towards the main desk where he collected his items, which consisted of his wallet and keys.
The woman behind the desk asked Jake if he needed her to call him a taxi.
Jake: yes, please
The woman picked up the phone and dialled the local taxi company, Jake walked up to a bulletin board and looked at the posters and adverts on there.
Policewoman: Where would you liked to go
Jake snapped back over to her and told her his address she then said it will be here in 5 minutes and told Jake to stand outside to wait for it.
Jake: thank you
As Jake was waiting outside he thought about what he was going to do when he made it back home.
Jake: First thing I need to do is call work to explain why I can't make it into work
Jake then slightly panicked when he thought about his work as he was still on a trial at his job and they could let him go for this.
The taxi driver pulled up and Jake got into the back seat of the car whilst on the way home Jake thought about what he was going to say to Lee's dad, as he is Jake's landlord and just knew that he was going to be kicked out for this.

The taxi pulled up outside Jakes flat.
Taxi driver: That will be £4.70 mate
Jake handed the driver a £5 note.
Jake: Keep the change mate
Jake left the car and made his way up to his flat, as he entered his flat Jake made his way over to the phone to call his workplace and let them know he could not come in today.
As he dialled the number for his wok he thought to himself what exactly he was going to say but just before he could think someone answered.
Caller: Hello perfectrecruitment this is tiffany speaking how can I help?
Jake: Uh yeah hello this is Jake Kynnersly I'm sorry but I won't be able to come into work today something as come up.
Tiffany: Okay bear with me a moment
Jake then heard some whispering and muttering on the other end of the phone not quite able to work out what was being said.
Tiffany: Hello sorry about that, my manager here has asked me to tell you to come in later today to discuss your future with the company.
Jake: yeah no problem what time should I come in
Tiffany: is 2 pm oaky with you
Jake: Yeah that's fine with me, thank you and goodbye
Tiffany: goodbye
Jake hung the phone up and instantly started to panic as he knew he was going to be fired for sure.
He looked up at the clock on his wall and saw it was 9:02 am so he decided to go have a quick shower and try to get a few hours' sleep.
Jake was just getting out of the shower when he heard loud knocking at his door.
Jake: Hold on a few minutes.
He quickly put his clothes on and headed over to the door to see who it was, as he opened it up he saw Lee's dad Terry standing there with a very angry expression on his face.
Terry: What the fuck did you do to my son?
Jake: I'm sorry but it was lee he broke into my house
Terry: I don't give 2 shits about that, all I care about is why my son is in the hospital right now
Jake: I'm sorry I really am but lee should not have done what he did
Terry: whatever I'm here to tell you that I need you out of this flat by the end of the week
Jake: This is not legal you can't just kick me out.
Terry then got up really close to jakes face and stared at him.
Terry: you really think I can't kick you out you have no right to even argue this.
He then turned around and walked away, Jake closed the behind him and was slightly stunned by what happened not knowing what to do he just sat down leaned back he must have been exhausted as he just fell asleep.
Jake woke up in a panic as he looked over at the clock not realizing he had just fallen asleep the clock read 13:17, remembering that he just got kicked out his flat he slightly hesitated before getting up got his keys, and headed out the flat.
