Chapter 2:The End

"Sir. can you please stop screaming If you just calm down I'll explain everything," the voice said trying to calm john down. "Who are you and what is going on here," John said to the voice after he stopped screaming.

"If you paid attention and listened to what I was trying to say you would know exactly who I am," the voice responded with annoyance in its tone. "Well I'm listening now so I'll ask again who are you and why am I here," John said he too was running out of patience. "Well, sir. you are the new god of change," the voice said.

"God of change are you telling me I'm a god," John asked? "Yes, sir. you are a god one of many." the voice said. "So if I'm a god does that mean other gods like Zeus in Odin exist and you said the new god of change what happened to the old one," John asked? "Yes and no, sir. gods like Zeus and Odin are not gods their immortals the second beings to exist within creation," the voice said.

"As to answer your other question you are not yet permitted to know about what happened to the old gods," the voice answered. "But what you can know is that there alive and fine and what happened to them will never happen to you," the voice said.

"OK let me recap I'm a new god other people became new gods as well something mysteriously happened to the old gods that I'm not yet allowed to know and mythological gods are immortals," John said.

"that's essentially the gist of it," the voice said. "Alright, I guess I can deal with those problems later do you know what those strange figures wherein that white room," John asked.

"White room oh you mean that it's just the place where your true form lies along with the true form of every other god usually there's no one in the place where a god's true form is." the voice answered. "Regarding the figures, you saw they were probably the true forms of other new gods you could only see them because of the temporary chaos that was caused by you and the others becoming new gods."

"So that was my true form and if it is my true form why am I in this body," John asked. You are in this body because your true form cannot enter reality as it sits outside of creation inside what you called a white room that nobody but you can enter. "Alright, just one more question if I'm a god what are my powers and what is my purpose," John asked.

"I'm glad you asked sir. as you are the god of change your powers involve theoretically changing anything however if you immediately got the full force of your godly powers you would die". the voice said. "however, you can practice your powers and eventually be able to improve them over time currently you can only change your own body the bigger the change the more power required." the voice said.

"As for your purpose, it is to lead a group of mortals to prosperity to better understand your responsibilities as a god," the voice said. "John sighed I guess I have no choice will I ever get to see my family again," John asked. Highly unlikely sir. You are will be in the same universe but not the same dimension by the time you get the power to travel back to your dimension they would have all died due to the time dilation," the voice said.

"You can begin your duties as a god once you leave this altar." the voice said. John with tears in his eyes left the altar to start his journey.
