CHAPTER 14 - FRIENDS

Linfan walked towards the office as he knocked on the door, "come in" a thick voice Boomed out from the Inside Linfan gulped as he slowly pushed the door open, Linfan walked into the office as he glanced at the man who was sitting behind a large table lying down on the chair

" good day sir" Linfan greeted as he stood facing the man how may I help you the man who has a round face and thick skin asked as he finally opened his eyes looking at the new student, sir I'm a new Disciple I came for my residence information Linfan replied politely, I see a new students who pass through the back door what is the world turning into the man muttered helplessly, "he seems to be one of the people who hate rich kid passing through the back door to get into the inner set" Linfan thought what's your name the man asked "Linfan" Linfan replied, the man started typing something on his computer after some time, "here you go" the man said as a card and map flew towards Linfan who caught it this card is your key then look for your room in the map 'Room 924' the man said as he went back to his previous position closing his eyes "thank you sir" Linfan replied as he went out of the office.

opening the map Linfan started looking for room 924 after a while he spotted it looking at his current position he started following the direction to the courtyard, this is really a pain linfan muttered as he passed through several places now Linfan saw a group of people surrounding a single Disciple the disciples uniform was tattered as there were bruises all over his body so I guess even here there are still bullies everywhere, Linfan muttered as he kept walking he wasn't that nice to get himself involved who knows he might get himself into trouble too.

after 15 minutes walk Linfan arrived in a courtyard he noticed there were different rooms Linfan entered the entrance leading to those rooms he started walking in the large Courtyard after sometime he saw a door that had the number 924 embedded at the top of the door, the door was pure white Linfan could tell it was made from a special material , he brought out the card that was golden in colour colour as he placed the card on a slot beside the door which fits the card perfectly bing! a dull sound resounded in Linfans ear as the door slowly opened, linfan retrieved the card as he walked inside the room it is slowly closed back, wow! linfan was surprised the room was twice as big as his previous room in the outer sect and the bed was twice as large but there was nothing else Linfan guessed they did this on purpose so that the disciples would noy think they came here for worldly things thereby relaxing.

Linfan walked into the other space Inside the big room which happens to be the meditation room there was also the bathroom, the difference between this and the outer sect is the Room and bed is twice as big as the outer sect while the energy is also Thicker and richer than in the outer sect, Linfan was satisfied he sat on the bed and he proceeded to study the map a bit going through the map there was the cafeteria, training ground and other important places he decided to head toward the cafeteria and there was something that bothered Linfan that is how advanced this world current technology was the previous Linfan was almost as good as not existing he didn't know much about the outside world he only knew there were technology in this current world, well I will have find out later Linfan muttered as he stood up he has already memorized the entire map in his head he didn't need to look at the map again after following the direction he arrived at the cafeteria Linfan walked inside he saw that there was currently a lineup Linfan stayed in line as he waited for his turn after waiting for sometime it finally got to his turn.

"your card please" the cute lady who has a fair skin and long dark hair that was packed into a ponytail asked linfan, this! what card? I'm actually New here Linfan replied wearing a confused look on his face, Oh! the lady called out she finally understood please head towards the other counter so you can get your card she said pointing towards a direction, Linfan turned towards the lady Direction it was another counter but thankfully there were no crowd In the counter "thank you" Linfan said as he walked towards the other counter. good day Ma! Linfan greeted the middle-aged lady who was sitting on the counter with her head bowed, hearing someones voice the lady raised her head as she stared at Linfan "do you need anything"? she asked , yes ma'am I am a new Disciple I need the cafeteria card Linfan replied, what's your name? the lady asked "Linfan" Linfan replied the lady, hearing the name the lady started typing something on her computer after a while she stopped 'Cling'! a mechanical sound rang out Linfan noticed a machine that looks like a card printer, as he Saw a card come out from the printer

"here you go" the lady muttered as she gave Linfan the card, thank you Ma'am! Linfan replied as he checked the card he saw his name at the middle of the card surface and he noticed two small circles that was white in colour under his name in the card he didn't think much about it as he walked back towards the previous counter where food were served Linfan noticed that the line was now long again, "so I will have to wait again" Linfan muttered as he walked towards the end of the line as he stood waiting for his turn after 15 minutes or so it finally got to his turn already knowing what to do he gave the card to the cute lady the lady received the card as she swiped the card on a machine she gave Linfan the card back giving him a book Linfan started going through the list normally other students would not waste so much time as they already know what to buy but Linfan was new so he had to go through the list after a while linfan finally settled on a simple meal with a click! on a button the food soon appeared out of thin air as it was now in the counter Linfan grabbed the food tray with a bottle of orange juice "thank you" Linfan thanked the lady as he walked out of the line after a while of looking around he decided to sit on a table that was free at the edge of the cafeteria Linfan could see ten tables on a higher platform on the cafeteria and they were currently empty there was a number on each table 1 to 10 he didn't know what the Numbers meant he didn't bother thinking about it as he started eating his food slowly, there were disciples who were also eaten in groups or alone, Linfan noticed someone coming over to his table the person place his food tray on the table as he sat down Linfan stopped eating as he glanced at the disciple, Oh! It's you Linfan muttered nice to meet you again this is actually my favourite table didn't expect someone would also be interested in it Long Yun replied as he started eating, Linfan only smiled he didn't respond as he also started eating his food Linfan noticed that long yun wasn't the talking type, well that's good I could eat in peace Linfan thought, he then remembered the systems word as he sighed Linfan git up he was done with his meal as he walked out of the cafeteria he wasn't the type who likes making friends in his previous life his friends were the games he played and he didn't want s to change also he didn't understand the system at all, Linfan walked towards the direction of his Courtyard he decided he would head over to the training room later for now all he wants to do is to rest a bit first.

WAIT!! A voice called out, Linfan paused as he turned around seeing who it was he didn't know why long yun would stop him. "is there a problem" Linfan asked, no not at all how about we become friends LongYun asked as he stretched out his hands towards Linfan for a handshake.
